Similar to the Sears situation, I think it has a lot to do with coaching... certainly if we can all watch his tape and observe his limitations as a player (tunnel vision, selfishness, turnovers) so did the coaching staff and decided to recruit him anyway. Certainly they had a plan in place to improve these and make him a more efficient player.

We saw this in the first 3 games, he had a lot of open catch and shoots and the ball was taken out of his hands a lot.... but you see now when we play against teams that blitz and pressure our other ball handler (Sears) Carter is forced to drop the ball... and the production drops with it.

We need to just coach him better and have him focus on the things that make him a good player: defense and threes. Him driving to the basket and getting turnovers isn't conducive to winning games.

Totally different team without Collins' aggressiveness and energy. No rim protector now.

I'm assuming he's going to be out for extended time or done for the year since it's the same shoulder injury as last year. Not good.

The way you speed up the pace it to extend the defense and try to force the opponent into turnovers or quick misses.

This offense is like watching paint dry....no urgency down a ton

LSU is already in the bonus. UCF is nowhere close. Any possession by LSU that doesn’t get the ball to the paint is inexcusable. Shoot 30 FTs if you can
