Jared Fosters Superman catch against A&M was pretty cool.

Skenes was supposed to be covering bunt to that side

I’ve wondered why on that specific play CJJ didn’t have both 1st and 3d crash on the bunt. Knowing a safety squeeze was coming that’s your only chance of stopping the play at the plate and just Give up the out at first. Regardless I’m just glad it worked out the way it did for the good guys.

Headsy and athletic play for sure but it’s hard to beat Ray Wright’s catch in the CWS

Those two plays have to be tied for Greatest Play b/c of the significance.

If Ray Wright and Tre Morgan don't make those incredible plays, we only have 5 CWS Titles instead of 7.

99 out of 100? Tell me you didn’t play ball (or know shite about it) without telling me you didn’t play ball.

there has probably been in the neighborhood of 25,000 to 30,000 baseball games televised in HD just in the last 10 years or so.

surely he can produce several dozen YouTube videos of other examples of a play like that one.

yeah - that was my assumption too

I suspect Tre was of the same opinion = and said to himself = "screw it - NOT gonna lose this game on a bunt to MY side of the field."

Depends on situation and significance of game.
Honorable mention- Bregman in Omaha on the spin and throw.
Andrew Stevenson against UNCW

Jared Foster had a catch at Aggie to save a game

After watching this play live... I dont think I can say anything will top it. Like one below said, it was straight out of a movie.

You just made my case for Josh Pearson's catch not being appreciated more.

Without his catch in the bottom of the 10th, we lose our second straight championship series to Florida and never make it to our game 3 fireworks.

Considering he ran the wrong coverage, I don’t think so. Still unbelievable.

it sure where this comes from.
they all talked after the game about how much they practiced that play.

and this article even talks about that and Morgan getting the signal from Jay.

Was sitting in left field for this play. No video will ever do that play justice. Ball had disgusting movement on it the whole way

As a former catcher myself, I would also like to add that was an incredible tag by AM.

You spent the time typing that you were a former catcher but referred to Alex Milazzo as AM to save keystrokes?

2009 cws I think game 1. Mahtook tracked a screamer to left center. Made it look effortless. Not many people could have gotten to it

It doesn't get as much play because it wasn't as "big" of a play. Morgan's crash and dive was pure instincts and talent.

Pearson's catch was incredible but it was a more "routine" play.
