Did you go to the regional in BR. I was at the Purdue and Memphis games. I didn't watch the second half of the Memphis game, I walked the corridor the entire second half. When Wilson made that shot, the building shook. I started into the arena and the doors flung open and people were running out screaming, we won, we won. I was trying to get back to my seat, high fiving people I didn't know. It was wild.

I was there. Tickets were plentiful and inexpensive after we dispatched Georgia Tech.

at least 10 in second half.

LSU got down by 12 and that's when I went outside to the corridor and walked around. I'd hear LSU fans cheer and I'd poke my head in and see we cut the lead by a couple points. But when the cheering turned to ecstatic screaming I started to open the doors and they flung open. When I finally got to my seat my cuz was just standing there staring at the court with this quizzical grin, like a kid who just lost his virginity. I stared at him for a few seconds and finally asked, what happened. He turned slowly and looked at me nearly speechless and said, we won. Leaving the assembly center there was an LSU fan, early 30's male arguing with this Memphis state fan, a woman, must of been in her early 60's. Not really arguing, but she was saying state would have won on a neutral court and state was cheated and how LSU fans would see how it felt when we had to play Ga Tech on their home floor. She was so pissed. I wish I could have seen her face after LSU beat Ga Tech. LOL

I was there. I remember celebrating in a bar in the Omni Mall after the game. The Kentucky fans were some pissed.

I grew up watching those guys, loved those LSU basketball years back then. My Dad and I either listened to or watched every game back then.

I was at the Memphis St game with my younger brother and two friends. When Wilson put that rebound back in, we went wild. As I was high fiving ANYONE I could reach, I turned to my brother who was seated next to me, and he was sitting down......PASSED OUT COLD WITH EYES ROLLED BACK. I threw some ice in his face and he came around. Thought for a minute that the Tigers won and he lost.

Good Times.

I will never forget Ricky pumping those arms running down the court after he made that final basket or Abernathy going after the Kentucky asst Coach.
