Great Grandson at LSU today = reviewing campus for where to go next year

My great grandson is a senior this year in Pearland TX - and has received invitation from LSU to tour the campus and consult with them - along with several other universities.
He is there now touring the campus.
Don't think he'll end up there tho - his dad is a UH grad and he received invitation from them also. Plus they all live close to UH.
Just glad he was interested enough to take the tour of LSU.

What's he going to major in? Unless things have changed, UH is an excellent engineering school. And generally a very good university all around.

Historically (last century) was commuter school, now tied at 4th w/ Tech in TX, behind UTx, A&M, & TX State for beds on campus.

We are all biased LSU fans here but personally i dont think its a must to come here. Student parking is freaking terrible. An undergraduate degree you get out of it what you put into it. Whether its u houston, LSU, or purdue. But if he starts pulling against LSU thats a bad sign
