Just about everything LSU needed to do happened. They controlled pace. McKinnon shot well. The bench contributed and Reece did a great job running point. Except for a couple of bad possessions he did what he needed to do. Not sure he even had a TO. I think we had 3 for the game. Great experience for Reece and hopefully will lead to an upset of Vandy at home. Geaux Tigers.

He won't. He will find a moral victory in there as well.

They lost to a glorified high school coach and team in his FIRST year coaching big boy basketball….your opinion sucks and you should probably keep it to yourself

This is where you get the backlash. The ridiculous hyperbole.

It wasn’t a “great” game. LSU lost. “Great” games against mid-tier conference teams don’t result in a loss.

It was a good effort and LSU had their chances to get a shorthanded win. They just weren’t clutch late. It wasn’t an effort to be disgusted with by any means. You like some of the things they were able to to… But it wasn’t “great”. This is why you get accused of celebrating moral victories.

Almost wins being hailed as “great” is indicative of just how low the expectations and standard for success really is

I like the coach as a person....he inherited a mess....this program is all his - produce or fall by the wayside...nature of the beast

We fell apart there. I’d hardly classify it as a great game. It wasn’t the worst I’ve seen us play. We had some lackluster offense, but it wasn’t as bad as watching last year. We needed people to play well, and frankly not everyone did. Reece was competent most of the game.
It’s not worth celebrating, but it’s also not worth drawing sweeping conclusions of how the season will go.

He’s celebrating a loss after claiming the people he hates celebrate losing. Mcmen are a special breed of retard.

There is so much wrong with this post - not surprising.

It wasn’t a great game, it was a competitive effort.

Reece had 3 TOs, LSU had 16 as a team.

We play South Carolina next game at home.

We play Vanderbilt Saturday on the road.

How are facts so difficult for you?

He literally had three consecutive turnovers in a row late..... Then a fourth when he air mailed and unnecessary half Court run out down to with under a minute
