It was full until about the last 7-8 min of the 4th quarter.

I was watching the game on my TV, so no room for me to complain but I noticed that too. Especially in the East Upper. I'd imagine they were plenty ready to go after tailgating all day with temps in the mid-90s and then roasting up there for a good bit before the sun fully set.

To be fair….many of the visitors are put in the east upper. They may have left early seeing the handwriting on the wall. Especially after Cooley’s interception in the end zone.

I know a few here were complaining about a lot of empty seats in the lower bowl but upon further review I believe they were seeing all the yellow (gold, lol) shirts being worn

Yes. Very few empty seats. Uppers were full corner to corner and vast majority stayed the whole game.

One item to note on sound on tv. Tv doesnt do the stadium sound level justice. I watched the game on replay stream on Sunday. On those big plays it was deafening.

It looked like it was emptying out halfway in the 4th

Looked real good otherwise

My only complaint is they have gone overboard with the piped in music, making the band damn near obsolete.

This, it's horrible. It's the single biggest reason I don't go to many games anymore. It's even annoying listening to the game on the radio.

Why would anyone want dance club music at a football game? It sucks.

I honestly don’t care what the other stadiums are doing

Point taken. For what it's worth, I agree with you that it's excessive and diminishes the experience.

yeah, but that’s a lot better than it emptying out early in the third quarter in a big undecided game which I’ve seen before. Saturday seemed different in a good way!

Ours is not the only stadium that does this.

The piped in DJ music has gone overboard. They need to dial that shite in.

Just because others do it doesn’t mean that we should.

The goal is not to be a lesser version of good, but Death Valley Great.

I don’t mind the wristbands once a year. It’s is (for now) pretty unique to LSU.

Lastly, more purple lights (only)

It’s ominous.

I love it.

I’m watching the replay now and notice that it’s looks quite full and seemed to stay that way most of the game. I know a few here were complaining about a lot of empty seats in the lower bowl but upon further review I believe they were seeing all the yellow (gold, lol) shirts being worn due to it being a gold game and mistook them for empty seats. Also they sounded loud and engaged. And it looked like a lot gold game compliance. Very proud of the fan’s performance on Saturday!

I was there in the bowl, and it was loud as hell

But if I would have left at half-time I wouldn't have sat for an hour in the Ag Center Parking Lot.

It wasn’t Bama 2022 loud
Loudest game against an unranked opponent in a very long time. Can't even think of an unranked team that came close. Maybe A&M 2019? It was such a blowout that it's hard to measure it against this one, but the crowd to open that one sure was a lot of fun.

I would hope that Tiger Stadium hasn't regressed to the point to where there are empty seats in the Lower Bowl for a big SEC game at NIGHT!.

There are always going to be empty seats.

Meh. Three games in a row, and two of them doormat teams we shouldn't even be playing. Won't fault anyone not making the trip this weekend.

Its for the students and players. Not for anyone else, probably isn't going to change.

I don't really get people who lament about "the atmosphere" in a game such as against a team like Southeastern.

Frankly, I feel like it would look absurd to have the stadium going nuts until the final whistle against a team like that. I know none of the people wringing their hands over it are actually going to those games and doing that.

I know this will probably get hate but the light show bull shite is gimmicky. Cannot stand it. Besides that the noise and environment were great. Just can’t help but feel we’ve lost some of the authenticity of the environment with all the LED shite.

The trend in sport venues is to make it more of an experience. Stadiums are losing out to 80 inch TVs and streaming of every game in existence.
