Well you can tell who in this thread posted without reading the article. They say they were wrong about picking Miami over LSU and people are like “It’s just one game”. No shite. That’s the entire point of the article. It’s about the week one game and how almost no one picked LSU to win it.

That no one including your pansy arse gave LSU a shot in winning. Keep moving the goalpost you miserable frick

My only regret is that I only have one up vote for my country. I meant this response.

One game against an overrated team. However, I was encouraged that the defense delivered...the team was fired up to O's credit...and the offense had a lot of missed opportunities and yet still performed decently well in a blowout win where we took the gas off the pedal after the 2nd quarter. Zero complaints.

don’t you just love week one overreactions. aTm is a contender. Canada is a genius, and Notre Dame will make the playoffs.
Add "Tom Herman should be fired" and "I'm glad we didn't hire Tom Herman" to the Rant adolescent nonsensical declarations.

To be honest the Tom Herman stuff kind of baffles me because aside from his team deciding to not show up in the first quarter Texas totally dominated Maryland in almost every facet of the game

That's not to say Canada doesn't deserve some props because he orchestrated that huge lead to begin with but I still think Texas is going to do some work in the Big XII this year

I never doubted O I've said from jump... give him an opportunity I haven't seen the defense play that fast since 2010.... He's from Louisiana, so he more then any coach we could've got understand how much the Tigers mean to the State

Did you sleep through the best, fastest defense we've ever had in 2011, and a pretty damn good one in 2012

All that's wonderful hocus pocus. Real truth is this. One look at this LSU team tells it all, they are tremendously talented. On the hoof they look like an NFL team up front on both sides of the ball. They looked like the varsity vs the JV's against Miami physically. Incredibly huge and physical. I am an outsider and telling it like it is. I'm sure Miami was in a state of shock at the physical mismatch even though Miami is a quick team. It ain't the staff although they have to get them lined up and executing, it's the players.

The OP asking that is wrong at this point. And wrong about what? That O didn't have the resume that would warrant his hiring? That's closer to truth than wrong.

O will have plenty of chances to prove doubters like me wrong

Was Sunday against #8 one of those chances? I know—Miami was overrated regardless. But damn it was a total victory in every phase. I’m more than just “highly encouraged.”

"We didn’t know LSU was ready. Now we do."

You still don't get it, go find another team to complain about

That's true but you must admit that Miami was no push over and this team played hard was well coached and most important the def and off game plans were executed very efficiently

I would like to think I’ve been even handed regarding O and this staff. I thought LSU would beat Miami, hooed it would be an arse whooping, and grinned ear to ear like a dope all game as I just sat back and watched a bunch of junkyard dogs gonafter fresh meat.

With that said, it was one game that we lost the statistical battle in (remember bama last year?).

Is there reason for optimism. Hells yeah!
Am I ready to ride with these bayou bengals? Bet your arse I am.
But before we declare Orgeron the next coming of Saban, Miles, or the bear, let’s let th season play out. Geaux Tigers

If we get blown out, seat heats up. If it comes down to the wire, I will Still withhold judgement and wait and see.

When we win, changing my avatar to a gorilla with a chainsaw penis and I’m all in.
