Gonna be bittersweet when we win the west this year. GG can eat shite we are not down in talent we are just down in experience in a few key positions. Everyone thinks just cause surtain went to bama last years class was a bust we had to get depth for the bigs and we struck transfer gold for the other key positions of need. We will see, but as long as oeaux does what he says he was gonna do we will be alright. Possible we may lose 3-4 but 5-6 is a stretch, it's also just as possible for us to win the west.

Burrow has attempted 39 passes in college. Brennan attempted 24 last year. You guys are morons sometimes.

Burrow is a grad transfer that's been #2 QB the last 3 years. Do you think that's the same as Brennan who is a true soph this spring?

When nick took over we had hookfin, converted wr in corey Webster, two star travis daniels at corner, and jack hunt, another converted wr at safety.

He had Fred Booker, Demetrius Hookfin, Ryan Clark, Norman LeJeune, Damien James. He signed Adrian Mayes, Randall Gay, Corey Webster and Jack Hunt.

Travis Daniels came later and he was a 4a all state player out of Florida.
Also Ronnie Prude who converted from WR.

Not sure I understand your point.

Nick is a DB guru. He was known for recruiting players for a specific position he thought fit best.
Marcus Spears was a TE when nick recruited him.
Devery Henderson was a RB.

ETA: Saban’s first full recruit class in 2001 was nasty. Might be one of the best at LSU.
And Ed Orgeron’s first full class was one of the worst. Not being negative, just posting facts. And that is what worries some.

Manziel took a 7/8 win aggie team and they were 3 TDS from being undefeated.

Burrow can be as good as Manziel

Next season will be very interesting. Ed realized he needed a QB to save his arse and possibly got one. If the team fails next season, I don't see how Ed & Alleva survive...I'd personally like to see LSU football be hugely successful next season.

My link below is a thread showing returning production. LSU ranks 122 in the country.

Let's not let the facts get in line with you biases. LSU was top 5 last year in Freshmen and RS freshmen snap counts. We had young players get good minutes at LB And in the defensive backfield. THey weren't "starters" per your stupid stat, but they played and it will pay off next year.

Our CBs are thin, but we have some safeties that can cover like CBS. Our nickel and dime cover guys were likely to be safties anyway, and not corners.

LB looks fine as White solidifies that unit, and the young soph Georgia boys look to be really talented.

And while we lost some veterans, some of the transfers should help, especially along the OL for depth and at DL & WR as well. Your adding Feheko and Shelvin along the line both who didnt play last year. Giles has already garnered #7.

Chris Curry will be our breakout freshman star running back this year. He reminds me a lot of a young spencer Ware. Dude is a beast between the tackles and has breakaway speed

“schedule”

It’s amusing that SOS is now an excuse for lack of productivity. Of course, many of the same posters who want to talk about how hard the LSU schedule is this year never seem to want to talk about how easy it was last year.

Difficult schedules have been normal for LSU for a long time and I don’t recall them ever being an acceptable excuse for non-productive seasons.

I have expected at lease 10 win seasons for the last decade and a half. If the last 2 staffs had to face those expectations, I see no good reason this staff shouldn’t do same.

Hey Glenn, when you have a good pass rush, and front 7, that can cover up issues at CB.
