Yes, i can acknowledge that as one good data point

He already works Hazleton. Decent chance he’d follow him but I haven’t seen much on it. The main “rumor” was Hazleton but there is smoke with all
of them.
of them.

Removing cupcakes and bottom of the country offenses they played this year here is how many points wake allowed to each opponent along with that opponents national rank in yards per play:
Nc st - 34 points (56th)
ga tech - 30 points (12th)
Va tech - 23 points (88th)
Smu - 12 points (26th)
Fla state - 42 points (23rd)
Virginia - 9 points (67th)
Duke - 49 points (30th)
For transparency i removed games against kennesaw, delaware, western carolina, and oregon st. They did perform well against those offenses

My gut feeling (or indigestion) is that it's going to be Hazleton. Seems like his name came out of nowhere in the last day or so. That's probably not a coincidence.
Robinson went from not being mentioned at all to a virtual lock to be the next DL coach.
Really like the Chevis Jackson connection too. A lot of people wanted him on board in 2024 if LSU had missed on hiring Corey Raymond back.

Not sure where the LaAllen talk come from. If Hazelton comes, it looks like he would be likely to bring Kaligis (maybe Sr. Def. Analyst), Hollowell (Edge/OLB Coach), and Chevis (Safeties Coach).
DC/ ILB Coach: Scottie Hazelton
DL Coach (Interior): Elijah Robinson
EDGE / JACK OLB Coach: T.J. Hollowell
Safeties Coach: Chevis Jackson
DB Coach / Def Recruiting Coord: Corey Raymond
Sr. Def Analyst / LB + Pass Rush Specialist: Chris Kiffin
Sr. Def Analyst / Run Game + DL Techniques: Peter Kaligis
This staff could bring strong recruiting and coaching abilities

Looks like he was Lanes LB coach at USC as well

Not saying LaAllen is a lock but it’s not made up. There is interest.

Chris Kiffin has to be in the fold somewhere. I actually really like his resume, just assumed he was LB coach before Hazelton

Can he bring Colin Simmons with him?

I didn't say LaAllen was made up. Just don't know where it is coming from and what his connection would be to Hazelton. I would imagine Hazelton would want to bring members of his current staff instead of bringing in all new coaches. Kaligis and Hollowell have already been with Hazelton at Michigan State and now Wake Forest.

Those results are all over the place. Merely looking at numbers…not impressive.

Numbers may not be impressive but also working with a different class of player and coaching staff here. May not be the most exciting hire but I wouldn't mind it

None of those clowns looks to be SEC quality.
