Been seeing it all on the CCB. I personally would not hate it if he stayed on staff. I thought DL looked improved and he could have some fun with the DL recruits we have coming

Keep an eye on that Dunham 8th grader.

The LCA broadcast mentioned him at one point during that semifinal game. Thought it was impressive that an 8th grader was starting. I was unaware that was apparently Kyle Williams' son. Curious to see if he stays at Dunham or transfers to Ruston with the rumor that Kyle may not return as DL coach and wants to go back home.
OM getting stuffed in a locker today after getting excited about two processed flips.

You hate to see it
Koon and Nagy reporting he signed

Edit: Shea also reporting
Head Chef. No tomatoes in the gumbo

In all seriousness, I wouldn't have minded o being back as DL coach but I think Robinson is a great hire
Wasn't Knight recruited by Lane at OM? Probably still a tough pull with Golesh and the success he had with Brown at USF

Numbers may not be impressive but also working with a different class of player and coaching staff here. May not be the most exciting hire but I wouldn't mind it

Just saw he's announcing his signing on McAfee's show ate 11:10. I think it's Oregon or USC

yeah, i'm very surprised we haven't heard anything about a possible flip, considering he flipped to them when Lane was there, and now he's here.... b/c if was all about the school, why'd he commit here, at all, to begin with, when he had an offer from them already when he committed to us.... very strange, IMO

Might have committed to Garrison who was OL coach but doesn't look like he's following Lane here.
Yeah I can see that. Just thought perhaps the Memphis interview could be a move to press Tulane and speed up the decision process. Who are the candidates at Memphis besides Baker? Haven't been keeping up with that search
Makes sense. I think either is a good landing spot for Napier
Could Baker interviewing for Memphis possibly indicate that Tulane passed on him though?

Wasn't Hall the HC at Southern Miss a couple years before when they were extremely bad?
Kid's been committed to Auburn for a while and they hired Golesh which probably keeps him interested.
You always take a QB in a class because you never know how guys will pan out. Lane just tried to snag the HS QB he's been recruiting this whole time. This just means more money to a portal QB
He was supposed to but I think he delayed when the Hartline news broke. I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up at OSU but I also thought the SEC team trying to snag him was Texas
Wonder if this means Matthews is gonna stick with Auburn and we're just reallocating NIL

Don’t be surprised if we look at NFL guys.

I don't know. It's hard to pull NFL guys back down to the College unless it's a position coach that really wants to become a DC. Plus that would be a hard sell here after Matt House.
No clue but I kind of assumed that Lane would probably have a backup plan in place in case he doesn't get the extra year or even the possibility that he decides to stay at OM
I think Sellers hits the portal after the way SC plummeted his draft stock this year but we'll see. I think playing at SC holds some sentimental value to him.
Really wanted that flip but I guess that solidifies that we'll dip in the portal for a starting QB for the next two years.
Anderson is live on IG for anyone interested
