Gary is neutral in all of the games. It's all of the fanbases who are biased and interpret comments the way they want to hear them vs. just what they are...objective comments.
The only problem I had with him during the Georgia game....Nessler was talking about one of the LSU players and all his exploits from high school to really talk up the player and Danielson replied "Who hasn't done that?"

Apparently, most fan bases feel this way

You misspelled all

Fans that whine about announcers being biased really mean they are not biased FOR their team. Anything he says that’s positive about their team or negative about the other team is him being objective anything negative about my team or positive about the other is BIAS!!!!

His point was, all these kids were elite in HS. If they were not, they would not be on the field for either LSU or UGA.

When you spot the ball a full yard ahead of where it went out, it's a terrible spot. It was a bad spot at best.

It didn't go out. That was on a CEH run that wasn't even close to the sideline.

Was so clearly being facetious. How could somebody miss that?

He went on and on about the sideline spot, which was really bad in our favor. I do not recall him saying much about a CEH spot, and I just watched it last night.

Danielson points out mistakes and he points out good plays. He also is the best on Saturday when it comes to breaking down a play immediately after it happens. That is not easy. The guys on the talking shows later in the week have crews which spend time making graphics and breaking down film. Danielson does it in real time, live on national TV, every week, and he is almost always spot on.

Danielson is the best analyst working games that I take the time to watch.

He works for CBS, which is an SEC network. He will undoubtedly show some bias toward the SEC, and against anything that might threaten the SEC games from being more marketable.

Meaning that a game like LSU vs AL really needs AL to win. Whatever it takes for the SECCG to attract more attention and/or get the SEC the biggest payday come bowl time.

So I doubt Gary or anyone working for CBS wants to see a scenario where AL gets left out. Actually, no networks and/or CFB entities want to see the cash cow that is Saban and AL not involved in the SECCG, much less the playoff.

Ive never felt that gary was bias at all...

he props up the higher ranked team most of the time, but he did so for us in 2011

he commented during the 2011 auburn game "I guess if you look hard enough, you might find a flaw, but i'm not seeing it"

Let's not get into a dominate/dominant situation here.

Right. Being wrong or making a prediction that turns out incorrect doesn't implicate an anti-LSU bias.

Gary Danielson is not biased like every fan claims.

I just think hes an idiot. He can't pronounce our teams names, hell he can't even pronounce Ensminger's name.

But he is not biased.

Well, I think someone like David Pollock genuinely dislikes LSU.

Meh, it was generous, and i didnt have a problem with Gary complaining about that. BUT, he continued to complain about the spot on the 4th down play, which burrow was OBVIOUSLY over first down line.

He was being ridiculous with that one.

When Nessler said Delpit was "on his way" to being one of the best safeties in CFB, Danielson immediately chimed in and said "he's already there"

he loves Delpit. he was on the radio in Atlanta before the UF game and was gushing about our defense, specifically mentioning Delpit who he said would be a 10 year NFL guy, Greedy and Devin, who he said would be top 5 picks, and Lawrence who he also praises often in our games.

he even said he was surprised by our OL, who he thought would have trouble with Auburn's DL, but more than held their own and were actually a bright spot.

It's funny how there is a mutual hate by the whole SEC on Gary and Vern.
