Another reason that game was special is that we didn't have to listen to that biased prick calling it.

I don't dislike danielson. He simply praises the highest ranked team. Simple as that.

But in all seriousness, CBS broadcast can kill an atmosphere with all the timeouts.

How pissed do you think CBS was to bounce that game and see what it became. Hopefully ESPN saw how special DV can be and will put LSU home games at the 6 spot permanently.

Doubtful but a man can dream

He would've pressed his secret Replay button so the refs would review it a million times while he scrambled to find something phony for them to call after the fact.

Spot on. So for the last 10 yrs that bama has beaten us, he praised them . But not this yr or 2019.

I actually like Nessler but that final call by Fowler was special. Will be one of the great sound bites in LSU history.

And yes. So much better to have Kirk than Gary.

Danielson makes a bold statement. And then he makes up sh*t to support it. ALL game long.

Gary's Wiki page said he writes for CNN, RollTide.com, and Pravda.

It stayed up for almost a year before someone caught it.

A funny situation last week was Georgia lining up to kick a FG and Gary insisting that they were going for it on 4th. When it was pointed out that Bennett is the holder, Gary said "...oh"

Thought this was going to be worth my time.

Frick it, I'll bite. Why do you think Gary Danielson is mad?

"ESPN saw how special...."That video of Fowler & Herbie, kicking back with cocktails in the plane home, was a PR bonanza for Tiger Stadium & the Tigers. Fowler in particular went on & on and on about the environment, one comment in particular stands out: " that huge block of concrete,....paused....there's nothing like it in the country. Not even close. It was amazing". Herbie kept saying how lucky they were to get "this kind of game".

Hopefully the Aaflac Duck doesn't follow the SEC when they make the move to ABC

Fowler definitely got emotional talking about how he’s been coming here since ‘88 and how special it is. It’s really something to hear a complete outsider with no ties to LSU get that emotional and sentimental about our university and the experience it offers
