Btw you do know that Nabors is the alltime leader in yards and catches at LSU right?
Yes. I also know how to spell his name.

He had over 1,000 in 2022 on 70+ catches.
Aaron anderson is going to get close with one less game
He’s at 778 yards. If he hits about his average he will have ~920 yards.
Given we have used him more and more and potential for Lacy to opt out then he may end up with more

It’s spelled correctly and he won’t unless he breaks records

“Anderson is as impressive as Nabers”
“Anderson is going to get close”
Wanna move the goalpost some more?

Yes. He has stood out as much as nabers

Anderson is on track to end with 920 yards in one less game.
He averaged 4.7 catches and 70 yards per game.
Nabers averaged 78 yards per game and 5.5 catches per game
That is very very close.
Mind you anderson has a worse QB

In Nuss's defense that mark from Daniels is the highest single season passer rating in NCAA history.
He played well vs Vandy but it's amazing how quickly people forget the 4 weeks before.
In terms of passer rating Nuss (137) is still in between Brandon Harris (134) and Max Johnson (141). LSU only stats.

And the truth finally comes out. You hate the QB and will say anything to bash him, facts don’t matter. Thanks for finally admitting it, we can ignore your fallacies now.

Care to discuss the objective stats of anderson and nabers?
Posted on 11/24/24 at 11:23 am to Adam Banks
That would be a first for you and works against your overall narrative anyway. Everyone knows the 2022 group was way better but our QB this year throws it much better than in 2022. The 2022 QB ran the ball very well which made up for that but when we’re talking about WR production that doesn’t do anything for your argument. Sorry bub your narrative is toast.

Are they?
You would take bum ankle overweight boutte as your top receiver?

What is his YPA? Not so great after all. He is often confused which leads to poor decisions. He is reluctant to run to a fault. He has a long way to go to being a good QB.

He wasn’t our top WR, this is another one of your biased, factually incorrect things you use to try and spin reality. Again you’re missing another similarity, Anderson has surpassed Lacey just as Nabers surpassed Boutte only Nabers did it much quicker and by a much wider margin in 2022.

He’s a good quarterback. He just lacks mobility. I believe he has it I just think he’s hesitant to run.
Hopefully he grows in the offseason and shows an ability to scramble when needed.

YPP after 11 games
Nuss - 7.2
JD5 2022- 6.6

With a competent WR group Nuss would’ve easily hit 4000 yards and 40 TDs.
Bull. Plenty of ability at WR and he's throwing to the most productive TE in LSU history.

He did well for a first year starter with no running game and a big drop off at receiver. He never should have had to throw as many times as he did this year. We need an OC and OL coach that can get our run game out of neutral.
It can be done successfully without a true running QB. See TX and UGA offenses.

That took him five seasons as a starter to do that. And two first round pick wide receivers.
Nussmeier has had none of that.

What’s that? He doesn’t have as high of a passer rating as the guy that broke the NCAA single season record for passer rating? Well thanks for putting that into perspective

Biggest difference is we could run it in 2022 when JD had stinkers. Imagine Nuss having multiple 80 yard passing nights, we’d have lost to Nicholls and who knows who else. In 2022 you had a decent Center and a bulldozer at RG instead of two bottom tier players like we do this season.
