So besides his legs Daniels really had no run game either from the running backs.

For some reason they forget this

His running not only manufactured yards directly, but the threat of him running opened lanes for RBs

We had the exact issues without a stud like Durham

I do not get how people don't understand the concept of Yards per Attempt being the most important metric any QB could have.

You need to include context. JD had Nabers and BTJ to throw to. Plus, JD's ability to run affected how defenses schemed him, including coverage.

Secondaries have been playing lots of deeper cover two and some cover three on Nuss, while in some cases disguising and rolling coverages. They've been taking away deeper shots while giving up underneath throws.

Against Vandy, Nuss seemed to do a better job overall recognizing that and taking what the defense was giving him. That's what you want him to do - make the smart decision and not force what isn't there.

He now has 3458 passing yards this season. He trails Jayden by 354 yards. For as bad as some people think he is, he’s had a hell of a season historically for LSU football

And he’s done so without 2 first round WRs

He’s thrown many passes that would have made us absolutely splooge from 2008-2018 (minus 2013).

Just shows his limitations in helping the run game.

Now, the run game/scheme/OL being shite for the third year in a row under Kelly isn't on Nuss. He just does little to help Kelly's shitty scheme

100 more attempts in less games. He won’t come close in TD’s and has triple the INT’s. Not saying he can’t improve.

What a dumbass post. You want to cherry pick stats and use Jayden Daniel’s 5th year starting, compared to Nussmeier’s 1rst year starting to prove Nuss is bad. Lol. It only takes a couple minutes to go back and see that JD wasn’t shite until his 5th year starting. Do better.

He’s done this with the worst WR group in a long arse time too. That group can’t get open to save their lives and they haven’t made a single tough catch to help him out all season aside from Mason Taylor

You’re focusing on Hilton and Lacy too much. Anderson, Williams, and Smith are very good, not elite but very good

JD had Receivers that could run after the catch. Your point does not compare apples to apples

Lacy's rank among SEC WR's:

Receptions: 4th
reYds: 4th
TD's: t1st
1st downs: 2nd

Sure, like most first time starting qbs in the SEC. Most other qbs have very bad games, depending on who they are playing. See Milroe yesterday at OU, and Dart at Florida....etc.

He has made some bad decisions, and appears to be learning. This board sometimes likes to put everything on him, even when the interior OL is getting blown up and he has little chance....it seems to always be his fault with some of you. And, I'm sure the pitch forks are out just waiting on his next stumble.
