LSU is designated a smoke-free campus. This policy will be enforced on campus and in Tiger Stadium.
This is funny. Outside of the Lod Cook Hotel doors (on campus) there are ashtrays and butt receptacles.

Those who seek to inappropriately access the field postgame will be subject to arrest and prosecution.
Rushing the field against 8&4 would be on brand for Brian Kelly football.

quote:not how I read it. If you don't arrive by 230 you can go to the free parking by ag lot, which is the only free parking on that side of campus
I don't think you need a pass to get to the Ag Center...
Luckily we suck and I wasn't planning on going

It’s a highway and major thoroughfare. They can’t close off everything
Its closed at the south end by South Quad (formerly Nicholson Extension)

This is such a shame. I will keep buying tickets but may consider stopping in the next several years as this is more of a chore to go to games now.
The free lots to the east of Highland are full by 2:30 for SEC night games.

ESPN Gameday will be broadcast from Nashville. Missouri at Vanderbilt . My, how times have changed, Weeks ago Texas A&M at LSU was probably on their radar.

I understand why they’re doing it but I couldn’t have imagined that my desire to go to a game could have been any lower- until now.

So what applies to off campus.? It seems to me much of the activity that is by far the biggest part of the issue here is just outside the gates.

We’ll just have to see how it shakes out.
I understand what the goal is here, but on paper it just reads like additional BS to deal with + fun police.

That settles it. We're not rushing the field after winning the game Saturday night -- the price is simply too dear.

Something needed to change, and it’s better than trying nothing at all. I’m sure they’ll make tweaks if needed.

This is just using security theater as a way to rope off more areas to charge for parking passes.

Which is why they shut down Highland at Roosevelt. If you don't have a parking pass, you aren't cruising down Highland past the Chimes at 4 pm smoking weed and stopping to let your passengers twerk on the hood
The odds of the "undesirables" coming out to campus at 11 am to secure a parking spot, then just walking around with all of the new emphasis on MIP and smoking SHOULD drop a great deal. Time will tell

This eliminates the "cruising" up/down Highland between Roosevelt and Parker. Included in this are the pain points between Dalrymple and State and the intersection of S. Stadium and Highland.

Is the DJ that attracts the booty shakers going to be playing at the same spot?

So we’re kinda going back to the pre covid pass checkpoints? Can’t complain, it’s kind of insane to let all that traffic through once the free lots are full, I’ve spent god knows how much time waiting for people to make U-turns/get turned away from the paid lots. Hate to be the old man here, but if you don’t have a pass there is no reason to be that deep into campus anyway.
