Can you have a pic of him on a billboard without his permission in Alabama or anywhere? I would ask a lawyer. It isn’t like it is an election.

Why wouldn't you be? Op is a lawyer, so I'm sure he's got all his bases covered. That said I like #1

UPDATE:

I don't think we should use his face or the SEC logo.

Can the person who made image 1 redo it without the face?

Yea I agree, remove the SEC pin. remove his real face but make it a cartoon face maybe? Maybe make #MOOT a little bigger since you don't have his whole pic there anymore?

No point in putting him having to remove everything about him. I think the institution line is a bit off. This is collusion, not necessarily losing control

The only reason you could not use an image if a public official is that ordinarily the photographer or the photographer's employer owns the copyright. If the image of Sankey is used, the photographer has to be given credit and could sue for licensing fees and legal costs, plus damages for making material changes to the image. Had anyone here taken the photo, pretty much you'd be given carte blanc use of it. Otherwise, Getty Images has royalty free images to use as 'editorial' content, which this banner would be.

Just photoshop a clown mask over Sankey's face.

Keep that bastard’s face on that billboard!

Curious on the SEC pin with Lamar legal, but I love it.

Could you do the background of the 2nd with the font of the 1st Aaron?

I like both backgrounds but I like the font of "#moot" in the 2nd.
