LSU held its two hour spring practice event in Tiger Stadium on Saturday afternoon and there were plenty of notes to chew on.
With a couple of practices left next week to round out spring ball, here were some of the notes to take away from the day inside Death Valley.

Imagine caring who wrote a play by play description of what happened in the scrimmage

The amount of hate this guy gets on here is hilarious

I don't get the hate for Moscona. Sometimes I feel like it's mostly jealousy that a local dude is making a living doing a sports show etc. while the hate MM boys are burning rods or turning wrenches.

I'll sum it up. Nuss didn't have a good day.
MVB looked really good until 11v11 2nd Period and then the OL struggled.
DEs look great.
Berry is damn good.
Didn't get to see a ton of Pickett but he did well.
Hard to tell if safeties are improved.

This place is more obsessed with Moscona, than they are with Paxton Kling.... and PK has people here holding his jock.

Eh Moscona can be pretty obnoxious with his know it all “I told you so” personality imo. But he’s got some good connections and info when it comes to to certain things.

I’m actually happy hearing about the defense beating the offense and getting QB pressure. If we are going to make the leap to a national championship caliber team the defense has to be reliable.

OTs had a lot of struggles today -per someone who was in attendance

Kinda read through the links but little to no mention of safeties. Who is playing and how did they look?

It really is perplexing. The guy is obviously talented and provides enough content to keep me interested on my ride home from work everyday. I don’t agree with everything he says and some of his bits are kind of rock jock radio, but he’s objectively better than a ton of mid market sports shows. The rant hates basically all analysts and announcers though, so nothing new.

You think men who run welders and sweat their butts off pulling engines give a rat’s behind about the idiosyncrasies of Mosocona? Okay dude.
