WARD, BENSON, TOAFILI

Combined;

333 rushing yards vs Duquesne
216 rushing yards vs Louisville

73 rushing yards vs LSU

Btw for anyone still claiming FSU is garbage they won on the road last night in a comeback victory with a backup QB. Jordan Travis went down with an injury early on and never returned and they also lost that monster DE who #5 I think who was all over the field vs us. Also their starting Left tackle went down. Not saying they are world beaters but that says a lot to overcome that adversity down on the road and come out with a victory. Yes we should have beat them but FSU might actually not be terrible. Now 3-0

Solid post. Thought the same thing. Denbrock called a horrible game for 3 quarters. He was an embarrassment

Lol this post is an embarrassment. Denbrock has actually been dialing up some nice plays.

Yeah I think this is the year Norvell turns Florida state around. It still sucked to lose to them, but it ain't like we lost to app state

I don’t feel near as bad about losing that game after last night. Was LSUs first game together with a brand new staff and a bunch of transfers trying to figure it all out in prime time against a team that may not be great but they know who they are and they knew what they could do. Those RBs they have are very very good. I’m kinda jealous of them on that part.

Louisville sucks and but for turnovers and costly penalties would have been a blowout

Most concerning thing I saw was the FSU getting handled easily by Louisville. Our offense was really unimpressive until the 4th quarter.

And you were the one trying to make some grand transitive property statement about the game last night when it looked like FSU would lose.

It wasn't all his fault, but Denbrock was not good for most of the FSU game and didn't figure out that tempo with quick passes was the way to go until late. LSU had really long developing pass plays a lot of times and vanilla play calls that didn't help the offense at all. Things got much better in the 4th quarter when they sped things up.

Good post OP and I was thinking the same. Short of an FSU blowout I saw what I wanted to see from them last night, especially after Travis went down.

Some “fans” just love to shite on the program. Won’t ever understand it.

ETA: Meant to also point out yet again that they are a veteran team that was playing their second game and we still should’ve pulled out the win.

FSU has it’s problems and their coach makes some decisions but they are a much improved team and will probably get to a bowl for the first time in a while. That said, they caught us at the right time and barely won.

Posted this before—watch the first 8 minutes of the game. The offense played well. The defense played great. Both sides were intense. Masson gets hurt on a huge second down play where the safety makes a tackle for a loss. Forces third and 10. You can see the entire defense deflate. The next play BJ gets hurt. At that point the entire team deflated. It took 2.5 quarters for them to mentally and emotionally get back into the game.

And they won with a back up quarterback who looked really good throwing the ball

And if your aunt had balls she’d be your uncle. Penalties and turnovers are part of the game Francis.

He’s right though. Louisville is not good. They got dick smacked by Syracuse week 1 and snuck by UCF week 2. Yes, FSU won with their backup QB, but Travis played nearly the entire first half and they were down 21-14 when he got hurt. That game isn’t a ringing endorsement of FSU. I wouldn’t be bragging that we’re better than Louisville at this point lol

For reference, Louisville is about as good of a team as UAB…
