But he's right about this. None of the national guys have inside LSU information. It's just a feeding frenzy. Douche #1 spouts shite that is conjecture. Then douche #2 repeats it. Pretty soon, everyone speaks it as the truth.

The real question for this team is the offensive line. If the offensive line is decent our Tigers will have a good season. Ensminger will do well as OC. Playmakers will emerge at WR. The defense will be stout.

Every year there is going to be talk about coaches on the "hot seat". Last year saw a ton of coach fires/hires, so honestly, O is on the list really by default. Just look at the SEC. Bama and UGA are set. Fla., Tenn., Miss. St, Arkansas, A&M ALL have new coaches. Gus singed a big extension at Auburn. Ole Miss is happy just to have a coach and USCe, Vandy, UK, Mizzou aren't prominent enough for anyone to really care if their HC is on the "hot seat" or not.

Nationwide it's hard to find a traditional power whose coach seems on the verge of being let go. Oklahoma and Texas have second year coaches. USC seems ok. UCLA, Florida St., Oregon, Nebraska, all have first year guys. Clemson is more than happy. Miami is happy. Washington is happy. Ohio St. just sold its soul to keep their HC.

Really, the only two MAYBES are Notre Dame and Michigan. And Michigan is a HUGE maybe in light of what they paid to get Harbaugh.

O get's dumped on because he was seen by EVERYONE except Joe Alleva as an unqualified hire AND because LSU is a traditionally good program whose fans demand excellence. The pundits need to have a list to talk about so he gets put on it. The reality is O's seat is only as hot as Alleva's. As long as Alleva remains the AD, Orgeron will remain the HC. Alleva would be firing himself if he fired Orgeron.

and 6 sec games in his first full season as LSU head coach. Miles and Saban only won more SEC games in a season once each in all their seasons here at LSU. LSU as a whole has only had 2 seasons in the last 25 or so years with over 6 SEC wins. The past is the past. I care about what Coach Ed O can do at LSU right now these days and could not give a shite about what he can do at Ole Miss 10 tears ago.

Well if that were true you and all of these sports sights wouldn't exist. So if you think everyone that post are idiots I suggest you take up collecting sea shells.

The constant coach bashing on this board feeds the national narrative on LSU. The beat writers who read this board get plenty of talking points from the miserable NegaTigers who jump on every chance to bash Burrow, O, E, and anything else they can to draw attention to themselves.

If we lose 2 out of the first 3...and the team looks lost doing it...then have at it. In the meantime, give these terrific young men and our coaching staff your support.

Well said.

Why on Earth should we expect national sports writers to give our team respect when our own fans don't?

Which should really make the next coach want to come to LSU when O is gone. Rally or STFU.

but he left something out. First it has to start with primary source douches with no real information on 'The Rant', then it gets picked up by second level douches on 'the rant.' Then it gets picked up by media and analyst level douches who speak it as conjecture with secondary media and analyst picking up the narrative, then it makes it's way back to the rant once again, re-enforced by the media as the standard narrative. It's one big circle jerk that generally starts right on this board and ends up back here with posters like Mejoux and justice and 1999 sucking each other off

Such a false narrative.

The coach before him was 44-29 in 7 seasons.

Yeah, but he was 4-7 in his final season. THAT is the team Orgeron inherited along with 3 recruiting classes ranked 30-38. Cutcliffe was above average with a future NFL Hall of Famer at QB. Unfortunately for Cutcliffe left him with a starting QB that would eventually play RB and WR at Ole Miss and the NFL, another QB who became a tight end and another stiff with 2 D-1 offers who threw twice as many interceptions as TD's before quitting.

It’s good to see we like Tim Brando now after he called LSU fans racist for not supporting basketball. His reasoning was at basketball games people sit close to the players and you can tell they’re black so fans didn’t like going to the games. At football games you sit far away and the players have helmets on so you don’t know who they are.

No joke.

So are the Nega-O's

No they aren’t. What has changed to indicate performance will improve? Nothing.

So until we see the product on the field, the criticism is warranted. Now if they walk out on the field and look like 03 USC on offense and put up 60+ points I’ll be the first person on this board congratulating O and Ensminger.

But we’re kidding ourselves if you think anyone outside of Louisiana can look at the state of LSU football over the past 24 (really 36) months and think this is a stable program. I hope they prove the doubters wrong, and if they do we all need to get behind this team.

Wait, do we love Brando now? I thought we hated him? There needs to be a list somewhere.

Agreed. Scared to be overly critical bc they don't want to lose access or have their Twitter blocked by Derek.

Like so many things about Brando, this isn't about LSU, its about Brando.
For attention and clicks he was highly critical of LSU a few years ago and got called out by a lot of fans and neighbors. For the same reason, and to try to rehabilitate himself with those he lives with, he now allies himself with LSU . Plus, he may sense, as I do, that the pendulum of criticism of the LSU program may have swung a little too far and that LSU could actually beat MIami (its only a 3 pt. game). If so, his contrarian opinion here his very high reward, low risk.

So now the pundits opinions matter? Because just yesterday I was assured by the Oppologist that the pundits opinion was stupid and that they knew even less than the average fan.
