I like, what I call, the LSU gumbo crowd. Purple, gold and white. A little of everything. A Louisiana gumbo.

We need yellow/gold towels since so many fans don't like pom poms. Towels look great on TV and a handy thing to have if you spill your beer on the person in front of you!!!

Agree.

Such an uneasy feeling watching grown men shaking Pom Poms like teenaged cheerleaders in BDS last night.

+1 on avoiding pom moms in TS. I don't care where it's done..it's weak.

We don’t need Pom Pom’s and I don’t give a damn what they look like on TV. We don’t need LED lights or non stop piped in music ala MS State. We don’t need “The Wave”, fireworks or any other Disney World FAKE hype. We need focused fans who are a bit tipsey, pissed off at the other team and loud. That and the smell of bourbon is my idea of Tiger stadium. Play neck every game.

Penn State fans eat pancakes for breakfast at their tailgate and wave pom-poms. We eat fried everything followed by brown liquor all day before the game. Of course we get more rowdy.

Do you think the Florida level of intensity can be matched with a 2:30 kickoff by the fans?
It’s not a night game ( god damn cbs and their shite Gump crew) and with a 2:30 kickoff, it won’t get dark until the game is all but over.

Not sure it will be quite “Florida level”, but the crowd will be rocking Saturday. LSU fans are now a big game crowd. And a top 10 matchup with LSU marching towards an all time great season in LSU history will definitely have the crowd jacked up.

Clapping is much louder than waving a damn towel or shaking a Pom Pom.

Yell and clap like hell like usual. That is Tiger Stadium.

Post Sandusky should State Penn be waving a bunch of towels that close to the locker room.

I think having about 50,000 gold Pom Poms would look pretty cool. The white ones at Penn State looked great.

I'd prefer 50k doing the T-Rex after every good play than that shite.

Not gonna lie, I hate the gold towels at this point against Bama because they’re bad luck. But 100000 gold towels waving was bad arse

Well, before Bama we had towels back when Saban was here against Tennessee and that was one of the loudest crowds in Tiger Stadium history (and one of the best wins too), so it's not all bad memories (they weren't gold though).

You can tell Fowler is a cool dude. Looked tipsy too-haha.
How fun it would be to travel to all the college sites and talk about college football for a living. I’m starting to like Herbstreit more too and Maria is a great fit on the show.
I don’t watch it all the time anymore but College Gameday will always be one of my favorites.

They have to be diplomatic. There's no way she can say that they don't really compare, but from the way that she describes it you can tell that's what she thinks.
