I was at LSU 69-72. That ‘69 Team was great.

RIP, Tony Russell.

That 1969 team brings back fond memories. It was my first year to follow LSU football.

A great team, certainly deserved a bowl bid.

Sorry for your loss, man.

For what it's worth, my dad used to always talk about that 1969 team being the best team in school history. Better than the 1958 team. Now of course he said that prior to 2003.
