re: Icebergs in Baton Rouge harbour

I think it was 84 that I saw a lot of ice flowig under the I20 bridge at Vicksburg, An uncle riding with me who worked on the river said he had seen more than that before. It was a lot then.
I had a female Border collie that had 3 or 4 while about 1-2 yrs old and never found a cause. She didn't have any as she got older and lived to 15 yrs old.

Such a classy man.
 I think that beats Al Roker this morning.
My prayers to the family of Steve. I served with him on the student council while at LSU. He was a hard worker and nice man.

RIP Pop. He was a friend to everyone that knew him and will be missed by all. Prayers to the family.
The SEC has always been about 5 teams east of the Alabama -Mississippi line. The League office has been trying very hard since 1992 to get and have equitable schedules. They also want unbiased officiating.

My condolences to you and your family. He was a great tiger and good man. I have known him and his family since high school.
I have a Franklin R910 Mobile Hotspot connected to a nighthawk router with a 50 Gb a month plan for $50 Month plan on Sprint.
I don't think it will be the end of Bama but if it leads to fair sheduling in conference and a shakeup in league officials and the way they are selected for games it would be great. The sec teams have to unite and that hasn't happened.

How is this Bama's fault? I see a lot of posts that Bama is behind this. But so far I have not seen any evidence - just conjecture.

No it's not Bama's fault that the SEC office is in the state and most of the employees are residents and many are graduates of the University. You must have seen some of the many post on here showing pictures and evidence of the biased officiating.

re: AC Unit Question

I went with a 18 seer heat pump with 2-stage electric strips for heat and have been very satisfied with the unit and electric bill about 8 years ago. it will save you money I believe.
It was supposed to prevent the spread of the Pink Bollworm to east of the river.

Neighbors on both sides have Goodman and I had a Goodman high efficiency unit installed about two years ago. I had a Rheem before that lasted about 20 years. The Goodman's have been great units and they are way quieter than the older stuff. The Goodman runs longer but the motor speeds are slower so your bill is lower. Get a good installer and enjoy the savings.

My brother and I have 18 seer Goodman units installed 8 years ago and we are satisfied too. Quiet and economical.
It will run when it needs to for heating or cooling. It's on a computer system.
I have it in a 2014 lacrosse e-assist and have had no problems with it. I was told it would be standard in their vehicles this coming year. Once you drive it a while you don't notice it.
