You must have missed the thread when that news first came out.

Both things can be sad. Nobody is celebrating what he did in the car accident. You really are a POS.

Naw dude. The draft is in a few weeks. The timing can't be a coincidence.

I doubt lacy was reading this site, much less gave a shite about what any slapstick here thought about him.

A negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run with death and turning himself in one month later is not “a” mistake.

You think players dont read this site? That's naive
Posted on 4/13/25 at 9:26 am to Sterling Archer
Dude was in a dark place. I can't imagine what he was going through.
Posted on 4/13/25 at 9:27 am to Sterling Archer
not sure if he’s a god fearing man but hope he got right with the lord before taking his life
Posted on 4/13/25 at 9:28 am to Shaq4prez
Im not saying none read this site. I doubt kyren lacy was one that did though.

Yeah. That's just silly
Before the incident he was looking at being about a third round pick with at least a four to five year career in the NFL making pretty good money, with the potential to make millions if he actually took the next step.
After the incident he's looking at no nfl, a felony conviction and likely jail time. There are still things in life you can do with a felony, but it's still a long shot that you're going to have anywhere close to the life he was looking at when our season ended.
I'm not trying to justify what he did but that likely feeling of hopelessness with no future should be a scary thought for anyone. It's not like he shot a guy or fought a guy who ended up dying by hitting his head or something. Most of us do stupid stuff at various times in life that can have severe consequences and we just don't have the outlier result the ends in those consequences. He did.

If this is true, I will always remember him for the way he used to celebrate big plays.

What a stupid fricking comment.
Sure he was an LSU player. But he also allegedly killed someone in a callous manner.
Not everyone can waive that away just because some dude can catch a ball.

Awful awful news. Man this is just terrible. Prayers to his family.

Don’t really see the relevance here. Lacy should not have lost his life over it. Sad situation all the way.
