Tanner obviously was a really good coach especially looking back at his tenure.

He's one of the best in SEC history. However, he's been a horrible AD

Here are his hires in the big 3 mens sports:

Chad Holbrook - bad, fired
Mark Kingston - bad, fired
Paul Mainieri - bad, will prob be fired

Lamont Paris - bad, will prob be fired

Will Muschamp - bad, fired
Shane Beamer - average, still has a job

The coach of the best sport at South Carolina by far, womens basketball, he did not hire

Almost everyone he's ever hired has been a disaster

So now our "fans" are celebrating losses by our ex-coaches.

So OP stated a fact in the title, linked the post, added no laughter or dancing emojis, and this absolute vagina gets on some high horse about fans celebrating the loss.

Could you possibly be any more pathetic? Well maybe so. I did notice an OP of yours invoking Hannibal Lecter and spiking the ball over the basketball team’s third conference win.

You should give yourself a timeout. You suck at this.

Then 2018 was a bit of a letdown being sent out to Corvallis for a regional where OSU absolutely emasculated us 2x.
What I (unfortunately) remember most about the PM era was getting sent to Regionals/supers we just had no chance of winning. Like we knew, going into those post seasons (UCLA/OSU/Oregon/Tenn) that everything had to go right in order for us to advance. There was just no hope in my mind when traveling in the post season.

With Jay, I feel like there’s never a weekend we can’t sweep if we play to our potential. Things had to go wrong for us to lose in both Hattiesburg and Chapel Hill.

I know PM was much more than that, and put some of the most talented teams in school history on the field, but the end of his tenure was just horrendous.

18 - embarrassing
19 - IIRC, we only hosted a super because FSU beat the 1 seed in their regional. That team just never felt like they had a shot to compete for a title.
20 - would have been the worst team since ‘07.
21 - gifted a regional appearance. Dylan Crews/Gavin Dugas had to go nuclear to get us through Eugene. Embarrassed in Knoxville.

I really didn’t appreciate his attitude once Jay took over. Couldn’t stand the fact that people in the champions club gave Jay praise.

Some of y’all really need to have a beer with some of the former players during his era, especially the ones on the championship team it’s pretty eye opening. And no these weren’t bench warmers these were star players. Hell some former top recruits that played a different sport later for LSU will tell you some wild things about even trying to get recruited by him.

I don’t really pay attention to USCe’s athletics program. Those are some terrible hires, lol. Proves that baseball coaching and being an AD are 2 totally different skill sets.

I have spoken with a couple. There wasn’t much respect there. They gave more credit to Javi, Will Davis, and Nolan Cain.

I will give him credit. He did a great Job winning it in 2009 and nearly in 2017, and 6 straight years as a National Seed. But, make no mistake the man is and always has been a 1st Class POS! Never missed or still misses a chance to throw a player in front of the bus. Pressures kids to comeback from injuries before they are ready. Him and Dunn destroyed more arms than Ronda Rousey with the Armbar!! Fing Total Scumbag!!

I mean, we just lost to Mcneese. Talent wise, that should never happen. But the difference is which team will show up in the SEC. I'll take our team any day. I don't expect USC to be able to win the ones that matter.

Maineiri has become the Brian Kelly of college baseball. He was a good coach with a championship season however, when he wore a younger man's clothes.

Neither is true in the case of Brian Kelly

ZVR and Brody Colvin broke him. After that is when he pretty much shut it down recruiting and handed it all over the assistants.

... which begs the question, if POS Kelly were to coach again, would you celebrate his losses or cheer him on?

USCe has high expectations for their baseball program and they should. CPM is not up to that anymore. He acts like a deer in the headlights now in his post game press conferences. He looks tired and warn down.

CJJ looks he can't wait for the next practice, the next game or meeting with the next great recruit.
We just need to get him the upgrades for Alex Box. He is the best college baseball coach in the country.
