How the frick can anybody down vote that statement. The whole problem is the Offensive line getting beat on almost every play. Especially when you are on the 1/2 yard line and can't score a TD. Nuss getting knocked around like a PinBall Machine out there. LOL, Chester getting knocked around like a Middle Schooler in their first game is a lot of the problem. Sit Chester and let him go play for Southeastern.

Yes, the OL is awful. But, Nuss is the epitome of the big, dumb jock. He doesn't have the mental fortitude to be QB1.

SELU wouldn't take him. They won their last 2 games 87-0 and are tops of the Southland conference.

He's not doubt playing injured, if you can't see that you're dumb. However its the coaching staffs job and they know it as well but keep running him out there.

I have defended BK over and over but im done, he needs to go. I saw no emotion, no jumping players arse on mistakes just his stupid hand on his chin. It's time to move on.

It's hard to show your skills when the O-coordinator is terrible at calling plays.

You can make up for a bad oline with correct pre n post snap reads.

If you think Nuss is “fine” or even mediocre then I would encourage you to go somewhere and buy a helmet to wear at all times.

Nuss
Sellers
Lagway
Allar
Klubnik
Arch

All considered Heisman hopefuls this season and all with disappointing results. Arch is the outlier because he had little previous tape, but the others have regressed compared to last year.

Varied skill sets. Some pro style, some DT.

Reasons: Bad OC, no run game, bad OL, injuries, lack of skill players. Some have 1 challenge and some have multiple.

Taking out the 100% effort play by Thomas. Nuss was 18/27 for 163 yards 1TD, -13 yards rushing. 150 yards total offense responsible for.

Please stop repeating "4k" yards like its some mythical stat.

Nuss had a 59% completion in SEC play. That's awful.

He had more turnovers than TDs in that same time frame. That's also bad.

He's simply not good, and has been propped up by fans who don't understand football.

Nuss, a 5th year senior, is absolutely god awful at making pre-snap and post-snap reads.

What has the qb whisperer Slaon done to teach him? If the soldier is lost, then its the generals responsibility to help him find his way

Injuries have absolutely nothing to do with making the correct pre-snap reads.

No. But we know that guy threw for 4k yards in the league last season and CAN be productive for you.

Yes, the oline is a problem, but not the only problem.

Nuss has regressed.

So if you do that I can add in the TD pass to Zavion called back due to motion and the 3rd and 16 he converted while running for his life that was called back due to Davis holding. Or, the completion and long run by Green called back by Sharp holding.

Do we really want to play this game?

Nuss has not played to the level he played last year. That is undeniable. However, from the game that took place Saturday Nuss' play was not even in the top 3 of things to be concerned about. What I am getting tired of, is people blaming Nuss when there is an absolute atrocity going on in the Coaching decisions. Any QB is going to be the scapegoat but continuously pointing out the QB play when there are bigger issues is in your words a buffoon.

The defense played terribly and our defensive coaching staff made bone-headed decisions from a play-caller and substitution standpoint. Our defense got pushed around and dominated. The offense makes key mistakes that stall drives all game long. We had key drops, missed blocking assignments, holds, false starts, and wrong alignment that stalled drives. Then you have a Coaching staff platooning receivers after almost every play which resulted in the staff having to burn a timeout on the goal line. That is Coaching and that is the biggest problem on the team and there is no solving that issue.

But yeah continue to blame the QB each and every week when the reality is this is the worst Coached team in the SEC. The management of the game has been awful.

Nuss is who he is. He is consistently not very good pre snap, then follows that by locking on one receiver and throwing in to double or triple coverage.

But now everyone sees why Sloan and Kelly went so hard after Bryce Underwood.

opposing defenses don't fear nuss. at all.

An underrated failure of Bryan Kelly is not bringing any other viable QB to LSU outside of Jayden Daniels.

We all know what happened with Bryce Underwood, but the fact remains that our best options 4 years in is a 5th year Sr. who has regressed and backup from Mississippi State.

So in a make or break year, BK relied 100% on Nuss magically overcoming all his faults and had no real plan B.

They wanted Underwood and Nuss to go somewhere else.

Some of the bigger issues Nuss had can't be cured by coaching.
