Yes. We are spoiled. It’d be different if we were just having an off year after those championships. But being historically terrible when ranked pre-season #1 is a valid complaint.

-Not preseason #1 that would be UCLA
-This is the 900th thread about the same thing.

FFS you are a pussy.

A negative situation isn't necessary grounds for complaining.

Are you unable to deal with disappointment?

Do you want to fire Jay and start from scratch? If not, what are you complaining about?

With the amount of resources and money that LSU puts into baseball, a “down” year should be being eliminated in a regional or super regional.
Considering what LSU puts into it, Omaha should be the expectation every season.

What happened this season should never happen. Blaming the injuries is also short sighted. Team was bad and going nowhere before Moore and Brown got hurt.

No one's happy with what happened this year but it happened and there's nothing we can do about it. Most of us aren't going to overreact and call for Jay's firing bc that would be dumb. So yes it sucks but it is what it is

Who do you want to hire if they fired Jay?

Don't strawman about how lsu can get whoever and it's the premier program etc. say a name that you want m

Making the field of 64 should be the floor every year. Agreed, LSU has too many resources and advantages built in not to.

I don't know if it's fair to expect them to make it to Omaha, or even win a regional in a "down" year, or post-natty year where they lost most of the pitching and hitting production. But they should absolutely be able to make the post season.

Yet it has. 3 times in the last 26 years it’s happened.

We are just having a bad year. It happens to everyone. I'll take 3 bad years after a natty.

If you believed that somehow we would magically, immediately, replace, 350 SOs from two guys, and 40 HRs from 2 guys, no matter what preseason polls listed, then you’re just not thinking clearly.

My only complaint, albeit a very mild one, is that we didn’t can the transfers that weren’t contributing earlier and worked with our freshmen and sophomores.

The threads are going to continue until the ship gets righted or JJ is fired.

It will wane this summer with LK and WW seasons approaching, but what happened this baseball season is historically bad.

I really do question the sanity of this board. It’s mind numbing how dumb this place can be sometimes. Tell me who would you rather have running the program?

Are you going to keep creating threads demanding the Jay do something that literally no other coach is currently able to do?
