We should rename this site comedians rant since most of you think you are outstanding comedians. A guy asked a legitimate question, and is ridiculed for it.

I'm thinking Burrow has a much better understanding of what he sees across the line, and knows how to check out of a bad call. That grasp is probably the big difference between he and the other three.

Is Orrin Hatch still alive? He's got to be close to 100 if so.

I'm shocked beyond belief that we're reportedly gonna start a transfer QB who just got here and the TE coach hasn't gotten Myles or someone else to the point where they can read a D.
oh if only someone could have anticipated this bewildering turn of events, but literally no one saw it coming.

I’ve been to a scrimmage and many practices. Brennan has improved dramatically and throws a much better ball .Burrow is just a game manager with adequate arm and a better grasp of where to,go with the ball via presnap reads w SE harps on. Burrow is much more aware of the rush and keeps his head downfield extending many plays with his feet. JB will no doubt start
All seems legit

but MB could be the guy by mid season
I just don't see it unless brennan has GREATLY improved

I'm curious to hear how he looks, too.
Main reason for the post- WTF with the "Top Replies"? When did this get added, and what makes a reply worthy???

Not as strong a arm as etling? Very concerning if thsts the case.

Need someone in football ops to read the tea leaves.

Well if what you say is true than you would have to be blind not see the absolute difference between when Brennan throws the ball and when Burrow throws the ball. Brennan’s release is lightning fast and the ball is a laser in the air.
Unless things have changed drastically, Brennan's inability to handle pressure and move within the pocket without breaking down outweighs his arm talent.

Etling arm is good when he’s healthy. Burrow can make all the throws from the run and the pocket. He’s accurate and watch his deep balls then watch Etling punts. LINKm
If U watch that and think Etling then u can’t see well

Man he really places the ball well for the receivers.
He good.
I just noticed this comment from a year ago on there as well, "I was mystified by the comment about lack of arm strength. Apparently I am blind. This kid would be starting for ANY other team in the Big?"

What's with people thinking he doesn't have much arm strength? He has a freakin rocket. Just because he doesn't throw the ball 200 MPH, it doesn't mean he has little arm strength. He just knows how much touch to put on the ball.?

Montana weak arm, Brady average arm, and Manning average arm. It's not how strong the arm is its how quickly you process information. This Kid reminds me of another Big Ten kid who played for Purdue about 15 years ago.?

a weaker arm than Etling? Hopefully this isn't the case, and it is burrows sister that he was talking about.

Arm strength is overrated compared to touch, reading defenses, mechanics, etc. Drew Brees has one of the weakest arms in the NFL and he may go down as the best qb in the NFL ever.
