CheeriOs love to accuse others of "hating the man", but I haven't seen anyone make it personal. Frankly, most posters never blamed O for going after the job. The hatred is, and was always, for the hire itself. That falls on Alleva

I would like to believe LSU isn't crazy enough to allow that to happen. However, I would've given Ed Orgeron a 0% chance of becoming the permanent head coach last November.

No .. he thinks I am some kind of jinx toward picking opposite of what I pick... so if I say 7 wins he is thinking we will win like 10 or 11. I guess he doesn't know I won NFL pick em this year and called the bowl game a 23-20 ND win.....

Thanks for clearing that up. Although, I somehow feel that if o were to only win 6 or 7 games next year, Ree would be shouting from the rooftops about how successful o's second season was.

at 3.5 million a year for a guy that could not find another HC job- other proven coaches Can be found.

Again why does anyone have to be blamed. I still think it was a decent hire. If you hate the reason he was hired and the fact that Aranda made the recommendation that's cool.
I did not have and still don't have a problem with the hire. That is with or without the LSU DC recommending him.

Idiots here think a coach with the 2nd most talented team in his conference not qualifying for a bowl game is a top name coach.
And that Hotlips whose team is bailing on him would be better at a school like LSU than a California leaning school like Austin where he can kiss grown men and it be appreciated.

O never gets any blame with you does he? Hell what's the point of even having a HC if he is never held accountable for anything that happens on the field? I mean he is supposed to be the shot caller and the boss.

But you always say the past is irrelevant. That coaches learn from their mistakes.
Kiffin just won a conference championship. He has also never had a losing record as a college head coach. Two things O doesn't have on his resume.
