It's not happening. Lane is not benching him. Don't believe me, look at Lane's history. Matt Corral struggled in Lane's year 1 at Ole Piss. Hell he threw 5 ints against us and Lane left him in. Corral ended up becoming a pretty good college QB. Dart had lots of year 1 struggles and Lane did not bench him. Chambliss got the starting job only because Simmons got hurt, not because Simmons was playing bad. Sam is QB1. You may not like that and some of you will complain, but he's it. So get on board or get ready to complain for a while longer until he turns the corner.

Deep down, I don’t think we should move to Clark. But Sam needs to take a shot of whiskey or something before games to calm the nerves. The moment got too big for him and it cost us with the hole we put ourselves in

I think it's purely numbers...this is semi-pro football now. Donors aren't gonna want to see their $5-6M investment sit the bench for an upstart QB.
I hope we dog the next couple of teams and Landon gets more looks.
One thing I do appreciate about CLK so far is that he lets his backup come in and get real reps. He gets the 2nd team but he gets real pass plays, real run plays etc. It's not just go in there and run toss dive into eternity.

Donors pay the money so LSU can win.
I’m sure they’d rather us win with their player but ultimately they want to win.

I don't see it happening.
Kiffin, Weiss and Stevens see these guys all the time and if they thought Clark was better he'd be on the field.
Even with Levitt's inaccuracy, his legs bail us out with our weak pass protection. It's almost a Catch 22 situation. He is what he is. Clark may have potential but he's not being replacing Leavitt.
You win anyway that you can even it's ugly.

Love Clark, not sure he isn’t another Chambliss type player but there’s no reason to bench Leavitt if you came in believing he’s your #1. People are acting like he went 5-19 and threw for 80 yards with a bunch of turnovers. That isn’t nearly what happened. He missed a couple of open guys, that’s it and it happens every game for every QB but somehow we’re pretending like those all 22 images haven’t shown that the past 3-4 years.

All I know is is if Sam goes down with an injury CLARK strikes me as a guy that is never giving up that start position again.

My biggest problem with Sam is he seems to have "happy feet" he looks like he panics quickly in 2 seconds and wants to run. I know he not getting benched so me biggest hope is we seen new faces on that God awful offensive line this week.

He definitely doesn't look comfortable in the pocket but when one of your O lineman gets a grade of 12 for pass protection, I'd be pretty fricking nervous too.

Landon is average on his best day. He's not putting up 300 yrds on anyone.
