He should be fired then. Actually, probably should be arrested.

lol @ those next 3 opponents. Florida gonna be 1-5
I remember that thread preseason when some poster here was jawing about how good Florida was going to be and they’d be a contender this year. I was laughing saying 7-5 at best

Boy was I wrong. More like 3-9

Joel Rodgers

Does he have a history with Rodgers? He was never recruited as a RB. I don't think he had a UF offer or ever visited. I guess they could know each other from a camp. Rodgers is down the depth chart at safety. Seems like a strange player to start stuff with.

It took the SEC to step in and take action. Billy is a bitch! 1st he doesn’t suspend the player for spitting and then doesn’t do shite about this. No wonder his team is a mess. LSU dodged a bullet with that clown.

got suspended for something like this when he was coaching high school in New Orleans.

I remember this happening, and yet still the NO coaches cartel was highly critical of LSU when O sent him packing.

Shame that he is bringing a bad name to Florida football.

Such a standup institution.

Hate for this to be a blemish on their otherwise spotless reputation.

I love how that Gator fan Twitter account singles out Pyburn as if he’s the instigator

Say what you want, but Florida's handling of that is top notch.

Full responsibility. No excuses. Unacceptable behavior...punishment...positive future outlook.

Solid.

Disagree…a coach should absolutely get more than a 3-game suspension for initiating a physical confrontation with a player.
Sure, a slap is not as severe as a punch, but that’s still a line you cannot cross as a coach without severe consequences.
