UF defense is for real. That doesn’t mean shite since our offense is also for real.

Miami scored 20 and Kentucky scored 21 while putting up 300 yds of passing offense.

Only way we don't score 30 is if we turn the ball over or go away from the up tempo quick pass attack.

We scored 41 on them in 2011.

.......with 2 mediocre QBs that only threw a combined 14 passses.

......in a day game in Tiger Stadium.

.....against a Florida defense that finished #8 in total defense

Will Grantham even toy with the idea to show zone coverage.. and asking basically to run the ball ?

There's a good chance if it's the end of the 4th quarter and we haven't broken 30 something will have been thrown through the TV

I think they already have.

who wants to be the one to break it to them?
That's also considering Burrow sat out for a quarter in a blow out in some of them. In a competitive game and with Burrow in for the entire game, breaking 30 won't be in question.

Hopefully our D shows up again and we don't give up turnovers. That's how we can lose this game.

Think our offense has to spread the field and go fast to start. Get a lead and run away

You really think UF will hang that many points on us? I have much more respect for our defense.

Who has this “vaunted” D played? They will certainly be the best we have seen so far, although TU wasn’t bad, but they have not seen an O like the Tigers.

Bring it on !,

I'll be a little surprised if we break 30. I expect an LSU victory along the lines of 24-17. Now, if we handle this Florida defense, and we legit score 35 or more, I'd start worrying if I was a Bama fan.

I won't be surprised at all. this offense is gonna be turned loose at full speed. I see at least 38, probably another 45 game.

That’s the kind of thing we used to say about Spurriers Florida teams and our defense back in the 90s but we were just as wrong as they are now. Football is a team sport with 3 phases and they don’t have the firepower on offense to keep us off the field enough to limit our offense.

They had a great defense last year,

that got shredded by any team that could throw the ball

They gave up 36, 38 and 31 to UGA, Missouri and South Carolina.

I would like to see a Utah State type game plan, heavy on the run (50%), with lots of quick-hitting pass plays. I think this will result in a lot of punts, but it will force them to move the length of the field. As you wear out their defense, then start bombing away.

There is no way LSU will run the ball vs UF with the results they had against USU. UF is way more talented upfront and can still drop 5-6 in coverage. I believe LSU can put up 34 or more if the OL shows, turnovers are limited and LSU D shows up.

The only thing that bothers me is the Mullen is a sneaky little bastard. I hope our D is ready for some trick plays.
And we need to keep out foot on the gas.

If Nix could hit open wide receivers Auburn wins that game going away. Florida had several busted coverages. Nix was just inaccurate. I think Burrow will have a big game.
