I'll be a little surprised if we break 30. I expect an LSU victory along the lines of 24-17.

Our offense was dog shite last year compared to this year and we scored 19 in the Swamp.

I will be absolutely shocked if we only score 24 in this game.

LSUs defense was pretty legit last year, and we gave up 29 to bama at home.

A good offense nowadays will beat a good defense handily

Not so fast. If LSU scores >30 I will be duly impressed.

IF we had half the offense that we have this year, we win that game. The defense did everything it could with zero help from the other side.

Agreed, thats my point with this Florida game.

I think the spread with Alabama LSU last year was like 13 or 14 points as well

If LSU scores 35 this week....I will officially be a believer....but will enjoy a win even if it is by 1 point.

They may be right

But if we win and drop 40 on then, the rest of the NCAA will take serious notice

Last year Bama was averaging well over 40 ppg and we held them to 29. Good defenses can slow down a good offense. Plus, Mullen could play ball control to keep us off the field.

Florida has good athletes and is well coached. No one should expect a blowout.

If you don't believe in the offense yet, I'm not sure anything else will sell you. Anyone that's followed LSU for the last decade knows we are a completely different team on that side of the ball.

Some of these people are scrambling because they don't want to believe coach O actually did it. So many are refusing to admit they were wrong and now they just look stupid.

They're now hedging like crazy so if LSU loses and scores under 30, they'll say "see, I knew it was too good to be true!"

Pathetic honestly. Must suck to not be able to enjoy this.

Florida will play methodical, ball control offense so it's going to slow the game down. If there aren't turnovers or blown assignment plays it could be a much lower score. We slowed it down vs USU and scored 42 with them going 3 and out a lot so a score in the high 20's is a very real possibility.

Their plan will be this.

They have a HS backup QB coming into the hardest environment he will ever face. We will likely commit to the run and make him beat us.

Good luck, Trask.

I think will struggle to find a running game outside of Burrow scrambling and it’ll make us one dimensional a bit. We won’t have the 80% accuracy because their defense will do better than any team we have faced. It feels like 30 points to me at most.

Probably really uninformed and stuck in the past... who wants to be the one to break it to them?

I will respectfully disagree. In years past, when our offense was a sputtering mess I would agree with 24-17. This year, and with Florida's defense's strength being run stopping and their pass D being the weakness, I bet we carve them up with quick passes. 45-24, Florida gets a late td to make it closer.

Florida announced Zuniga their top DE is back after missing Auburn and is 100%. Grantham is going to be dialing up the pressure Saturday so we better make them pay early with quick passes. I trust Brady and Burrow to counter that pressure, but I do expect them to cause some problems.
