Saw multiple Florida fans saying they’d be shocked if the Tigers get past the 20’s on their vaunted defense, that by the way hasn’t faced a real offense yet. Man these Florida fans are in for a humbling come Saturday night.

I'll be a little surprised if we break 30. I expect an LSU victory along the lines of 24-17. Now, if we handle this Florida defense, and we legit score 35 or more, I'd start worrying if I was a Bama fan.

I wouldn’t be shocked by a 27-13 type game, UF defense is legit. I just don’t think their offense will muster much.

I, too, will be surprised if we break 30 by halftime. Think that will come on the first drive of the second half.

It will be tougher to score than we think guys. Remember when we were a defensive first team and played elite offenses? We will need to have a balanced effort on both sides of the ball.

Things in our favor - their offense isn't particularly stellar at running the ball. This plays into our hands both on offense and defense. Homefield advantage. Joe Burrow assassin.

eta. 28-20.

Is that the same Florida D that is only 12 yards/game better than LSU's D which their fans consider to not be good?

Break 30?

Depends on whether Brady calls the offense, or Aranda calls it.

It’s always shocking to me that fans of an undefeated top 10 team have the audacity to think their team might be good and win a big game

This will be the first game that Burrow plays the entire 60 since Texas. If we get 30+ we win. Trask is going to try to dink and dunk his way down the field and if we keep Perrine in check UF is not going to break 20-23 points (barring turnovers).

I think this is the game that any questions about Aranda's value get erased. He and Burrow are going to get payback on Mullen and his crew.

This is my take. Their only hope on offense is getting the ball into their playmakers hands and hoping they bust one. If Trask has to make tough throws, especially deep, it's over.

Tackle well and win the ball game.

I'll be surprised if LSU doesn't break 40!
UF fans are in for a rude awakening.
Plus, if UF gives LSU 4 turnovers, Burrow and the offense will hang 60 on them!

At what point of watching our Offense this year would you be thinking we don't score over 24 points????

Yeah, I don’t see anyone holding us under 30 this year.

Burrow played the whole 60 against Texas. Maybe you need to pay more attention. Itll be the 1st time hes played 60 against a good defense. Tigers 38-21

I haven't seen our offense play a good, much less great, defense, so I don't know.

Florida fans are asking one of their doubters, "At what point of watching our defense this year would you be thinking we give up over 24 points?"

I think this will be a big test. If we're careful with the ball, and don't turn it over, I don't see Florida beating us. If we play wide open, like we did before the Utah State game, I could see either of two scenarios: 1) We eat them alive, and score 40 or 2) They sack Burrow a half dozen times causing turnovers and ending drives.

I would like to see a Utah State type game plan, heavy on the run (50%), with lots of quick-hitting pass plays. I think this will result in a lot of punts, but it will force them to move the length of the field. As you wear out their defense, then start bombing away.

You know our offense has come a long long way when the fans of one of the top defenses in the country are only confident we won’t hit 30
