I recommend eating at The Pelican, Ruby's, Reeds Dairy Treat, Nick's, The Frostop, The Oleander, Fontenot's Cafe. Also stop in the Easy Shop for some candy cigarettes and a Chocolate Soldier.

a Louisiana talent was a major reason we won the title last year. Louisiana talent formed some of the foundation for the 2023 title.

This year had more Louisiana guys contributing than last years championship team. It’s not the factor or at least the main one.

Nephew played in the Jayhawks league at Pratt jr college in Kansas then signed with ULL at 3rd base. LSU wanted him, too, but he was Cajun to the core. Blew out his shoulder and that was it.

Live about 2 miles from LSU-E. Had season tickets to this year and went watch a few games, including the series before they punched their ticket to the D-1 JUCO World Series.

Louque and Clapinski are clearly different when watching those guys and others. The Mouton kid from Rayne is also a stud, he actually closed out the final game on the mound to send them to the World Series after only throwing 7 innings all year. Kansas got a steal landing him. In the final series he hit on out dead center where it’s 390 and it wasn’t a question the ball was leaving the yard.

The stadium at LSU-E is better than what UCLA has, and once it’s fully complete, likely better than a lot of small D-1 stadiums. It’ll be upward 18-20 million dollar facility when it’s all said and done.

It’s great baseball to watch and especially bring your young kids to. The tailgate the city put on right outside the stadium for the final series was awesome, really neat experience. Beer over there is $5, got the whole LED light show when a HR is hit. Really cool overall. D-1 in JUCO is no joke, those dudes can play.
