There are plenty of really good D-1 players sitting on JUCO teams right now. The only worry I have is not just getting caught up on some of the stats. Some of the JUCO games are played on some really small fields so stats can get over inflated at times.

Every year in the fall, there is a huge JUCO Showcase in McKinney, Tx where there are tons of scouts. It is pretty impressive to see that many at one location.

Yea that's like the typical restaurant in town. Not fancy by any stretch of the word, but it's ok for lunch.

But the one this fella is talking about is probably Hacienda. That's the hub here.

He may have wanted an opportunity to win the SS position. He wasn't getting that chance at LSU

You do have to be careful in that a guy hitting .340 at a place like LSU-E could come here and not be able to hit at all. On the other end, a guy like Leblanc broke a bunch of records at LSU-E, he was a much safer bet.

LSU-E has a couple guys smashing over .400 this season, 1 has way more free passes than strikeouts in Mouton, who is headed to Kansas. The other is a true freshman catcher from catholic who also has a more free bags than strikeouts, threw out 18 of 47 base stealers and only had 1 PB. HE wasnt the catcher every single game obviously but LSU-E as a staff had 43 wild pitches in 447.2 IP this season. Our staff had 90 WP in 497.1 IP by comparison while Arrambide and Serna both EACH had 6 passed balls

We should seriously consider the catcher in many many ways, no offense to a guy like Yamin but even if they kept both Arrambide and Serna at C this guy is a huge huge upgrade over Yamin as a 3rd option and he would just be a sophomore next season as opposed to a 5th year senior like Yamin.

Marshall Louque also had a pretty solid season there
