That's life. Deal with becoming an adult in the new and not improved "Corporate/Wine & Cheese/Early Departing/Atmospheric Declined/Sanitized" Tiger Stadium crowd...………….

When a big play happens throw your 20oz coke into the air.. People love that no matter what section you’re in. Thank me later

Quotes to expect from salty old fricks: "Down in front!!" "Don't curse around my kid!!" "Officer, he has alcohol!!" "You don't have to stand for every play!!" "Stop Kneeing me in the back!!"
so true. Got bitched at by a 70+ year old man on the 3rd play of the game for standing.

Couldn’t stand it. Now have season tickets in the North Endzone. Still sneak on over when it’s not too packed.

Well at least no more cups hitting you upside the head. I damn sure didn't miss that!

So this'll be my first year not sitting in the LSU student section. I've never attended a game and sat anywhere else so I'm pretty unsure of what the environment is like elsewhere in the stadium. Anybody else here recently transition from student tickets to regular season tickets (in the south endzone sideline) and want to share how it differed? I'm sure it'll be a little bit less intense.

My first time in the "grown up" section, I had one too many bloody marys before the game and let an expletive slip out of my mouth after a turnover.

Some dipship went and got police and tried to get me thrown out. Cop could tell I wasn't drunk and unruly and told the guy to sit down, shut up and grow a pair.

This was during a bad home loss to Ole Miss in the late 2000's when they kicked our arse from start-to-finish. I'm sure I wasn't the only person in Tiger Stadium who cursed out of frustration that day.

Seriously though, take inventory of who is seated around you as there are busybodies who treat their section as if its their property and feel like they should get to decide who can sit near them. Hopefully your new seats are far away from these types. If not however, it's better to be cognizant of them so as to avoid a potentially volatile situation.

I find that people outside of the student section are more focused on the game or their families and not nearly as focused on how drunk they can get. Drinking is not a problem as long as you don't get too shitty and just make an arse out if yourself. I actually enjoy being outside of the student section now because I can pay more attention to the game.

I do find it kind of comical to check out the new graduates that show up in our section every year acting like they have some kind of insight that no one else has...remember, we were all students at one time too.

Gonna suck. Standing the whole game and making noise when the other team is in the huddle is frowned upon.

This was a hard transition 20 years ago. Today it's pretty easy. You'll notice in the south end zone, the fans will likely stay longer than most students, will be more concerned about the game situation as opposed to their next instagram pic and will know when to get loud without having to have an obnoxious promo from a player screaming on a pre-shot promo.

Our student section is pretty weak, not sure who to blame, millennials, the administration for cracking down or whatever other issues are out there, but it's a far cry from 20-30 years ago.

SEZ best place to sit. Was in 304 and they were don't curse don't stand and all that BS. Got a chance for 4 in the SEZ and it's like older people who when it comes to football never grew up. Curse share Alcohol. Love it.

I splurged on some season tickets on the 50 for the 2016 season because I thought that was our year. Awesome seats but the crowd sucked. Closer you get to the 50 it’s more uppity/TAF people. They’re pretty quiet. I could tell I wouldn’t be able to act crazy and was discreet about my drinking so I didn’t have any problems but I brought a buddy into the bama gam who was pretty drunk and cussing pregame and an older guy in front of us said something. Made it awkward the rest of the game

Maybe they need to make a halfway house section for recent graduates.
