1967-LSU v. Tulane in Tiger Stadium
Terrific football game. LSU got a Sugar Bowl invitation, even with a disappointing 5-3-1 record at the time. Jim Corbett was a GENIUS!

Easy Tiger win
Not really. It looked that way about midway through the 3rd quarter, as LSU led 27-0. But Tulane got hot, and closed to within 34-27. LSU closed out the game with a long TD drive on the ground, led by Nelson Stokely, Frank Matte and Jimmy Dousay to win 41-27.

2004 opener vs Oregon St.
Alexis Serna missed the extra point in OT to give us the win. Oreg st fans were in shock leaving the stadium. kicker was probably left at the airport.
It was wet & sloppy and there was a streaker. Got to break out my gold poncho.
Went to plenty games as a toddler in the late 90's but that was the first one I can vividly remember.

1966
LSU 10 - Miami 8
I was 8 years old.
That was the second home game of the year. The only game I missed that year was the opener which featured the return of Paul Dietzel as coach of South Carolina. I guess one of the adults managed to scoop up my ticket for that one.

That was a good one. Bring Back The Magic, we got to wear our legendary whites at home for the first time in 13 years and Nix to Twillie. The Gerry Dinardo era got off to a rip-snortin' start.

1994 LSU Miss st game. Eddie Kennision with the wtf are you doing.... ok oh shite he went all the way punt return for a touchdown lol. I remember being a 8 year old sitting in the upper deck wondering why we couldn’t sit at the bottom with all the available seats lol.
I was at that game.
Moulds and Kennison put on a show.

1971 vs Colorado. We lost but it was my first gig as a Boy Scout usher.
I remember much more clearly seeing Pistol Pete in the Cow Palace in 1969.

1954 Bama beat LSU, don't remember the score. Bart Starr was the Bama QB. Talked to all LSU all-american Sid Fournet after the game and he was embarrass how the team played that night.

LSU vs A&M 1994. Little did I know the end of Curly Hallman was near.

LSU vs Tulane, 1990. LSU won 16-13. I was young and just glad LSU won at the time. May have been Mike Archer’s last game.

LSU Vs Tulane 1982. we apparently lost in an upset. But all I remember is we sat in the South Endzone lower bowl under the overhang. And after the game in the car my dad calling a fan, who was walking in the middle of the road wearing a green shirt, a "Tulane Looking Motherfricker".

Southern Miss, Curley’s last days. Mississippi kid with Louisiana parents. They made sure I knew what a real football experience looked like even in the dark days. Keeps me appreciative as we go through the ebbs and flows of the greatest times in LSU history.

Lsu vs Florida Dec 1964. Game rescheduled due to a hurricane earlier in the year. Florida won 20-6 with Steve Spurrier at QB and placekicker. Doug Moreau provided tigers only points with FG's.

My first in person game was as a freshman in ‘82 against Oregon St...the coming out part for the Dalton and James gang.

First game I ever went to, I was only about 3 or 4 and all I can remember; it was against South Carolina and I liked their stupid rooster mascot-haha.
First true game where I was hooked as an LSU Tiger fan forever was against Tennessee in 1989. I was only 10 but remember the excitement I had riding to the stadium on Game Day.
“Peel the Big Orange” was written on a poster in a car we passed by.
Tommy Hodson was the quarterback for Tigers.
Lost the game to a better Tennessee team but it was in my blood from that day forward.
