1997 LSU at Vandy
Grew up a Tiger fan in North Alabama and had an uncle who had played at Vandy who gave my parents his tickets that week. Remember Cecil Collins getting hurt, the offense really struggling. Vandy scored late and then got two penalties trying to decide whether or not to kick an extra point or go for 2 and the lead. Tigers blocked the extra point, and beat Florida the next week.

I was there... The chants of "Help Mac Pack" were heard throughout the game!

Kentucky 1998. Tim Couch and The Pirate storm back to beat LSU on a game winning FG at the end of the game. 6 year old me left crying like a baby. I love that place and have from that moment on.

I remember that game. 20-3 LSU win. The Tiger QB that night was just as hot as a firecracker; can't remember if it was Emsminger or Woodley.
1979 was an interesting year for LSU. In addition to top-ranked USC, we played undefeated FSU and #1 Alabama. All three of these the Tigers came up short, but they were competitive throughout. The most disappointing game was a 24-13 loss to Tulane in the Dome, but Tulane was pretty good that year and their fans outnumbered the Tiger fans that day.

Although, the first game I ever attended was the Bama game in Tiger Stadium in 1969 when I was two years old, the first game I can remember attending was the Ole Miss game in Jackson in 1977. I remember being mad as he%% when we went in at halftime down 21-0, but it turned out to be a great day when Ensminger scored the winning TD with around a minute or so left in the game.
That was back in the days when we played Ole Miss and State in Memorial Stadium in Jackson.

Very first LSU game I was 8 @ the '95 Indy Bowl. Then in 11th grade,2005, my good friend from school brought me to the Tennessee game, my first game in Tiger Stadium. It was the one after Katrina if I'm not mistaken. Bad loss, but man did I absolutely fall even MORE in love with LSU football that day. Great experience. Hot af.
Brought my son, 9 now, to the 2019 LA Tech game for our first game together. By far the best time I've had inside that stadium was watching him light up and get so excited asking questions. Without a doubt one of the best days of my life.

back then)
It was the most intense game I've seen in Tiger Stadium; slightly ahead of the 1972 "17-16 Jones to Davis" Ole Miss game. (Turn back the clock 4 seconds, you're now entering Louisiana" )

Nov '57 Tigers/Tulane Tigs win 25-7. Jimmy Taylor/Billy Cannon in same backfield. TS was packed. Fights broke out in northeast, east and south stadium.
I was 12, sat in south west upper corner. Was hooked for life.

And Don Schwabe from Houma won the SEC rushing title that nasty miserable night.

LSU 30
Kentucky 20
October 1990. I was nine. Sitting on the East Sidelines. LSU was 4-2 after that win and just two wins away from being bowl eligible.
What I remember most about that game was a really tall dude walking up the stairs with a cup full of ice. Some guy who knew him asked, “What are you going to do with all that ice?” To which the man responded, “I’m gonna go home and have sex.” After that, I couldn’t stop laughing for about a good thirty minutes. Pretty funny for a nine year old to hear the word, “Sex” yelled out loud in public. I didn’t know what he meant by that. I still don’t.

1964 afternoon regional TV verus the Tennessee Vols. 3 to 3 tie game. We missed three field goals inside the 30 that day. Vols stoped Don Schwab on the one foot line. Vols had seventy five total yards on Offense and got out with a tie.

that was lsu's top attended game, by a long shot, until the stadium expanded again 17 years later
I always wondered how they fit 85000 in TS... either democrats were counting tickets or people were sitting on top of each other. I bet the latter.

Too young to remember first game, my dad would bring me, I remember being at the earthquake game when I was 9, notre dame when Tim brown ran the kick for a TD, Miami arse whooping in the monsoon... the list goes on and on. Had better scholarship offers to lots of other schools than LSU but couldn’t imagine being anywhere else on Saturday night than in tiger stadium
my sons first game was 1 month after he turned 2 at the Swamp in 2014. We drove down from Virginia, he stayed awake for 3 quarters watching, never cried or complained.. woke up and rallied for the win at the end. Now he is a diehard.
2 years ago before Utah state game, he fell while tailgating, cut his leg bad... he didn’t want to miss game so we went to medic tent in TS and bandaged it... stayed til the end, hot as hades... drove back home 2 hours then I put 6 staples in his leg to close the wound

LSU Bama 1973 ...Tigers lost 21-7. Brad Davis had a touchdown run. Recall the electric atmosphere. Became Tiger fan for life.

2008 vs. North Texas
Got the tickets from 4-H and we were in the west uppers.
Was a typical rent-a-win blow out game, but I still had a great time. What stands out to me the most was hearing the band play pregame.
My next two games before I became a student were 2010 WVU and 2011 Arkansas. Those were two fun games to be at.
