So I’m guessing you became a “fan” somewhere between 2003-2007? Don’t sprain your ankles jumping off the bandwagon.

True fans can also be realistic. Why don't you try reading some analysis (outside of Baton Rouge). Most "experts" have LSU winning 7 or less games this season. Ranked near the bottom of "returning starters." Probably going to be led by a QB who was not good enough for Ohio State (some say not very impressive at Ohio State spring game and practice).

Honestly that's your problem. It might be time to move to another hobby. Try testosterone booster maybe...

It is impossible for a TRUE LSU fan to be convinced to pull against their Tigers !!!

If analysts outside of Baton Rouge do it for you, you were never a fan anyway.

Amen. I am just sick of the doomsday people who want to wallow in their own feces and have everyone else share in their pain. I quit reading most of their threads but they swoop in to shite on every other thread anyway...

I am optimistic and excited for the new season. It is very possible that I could be quickly disappointed but I will deal with that when/if the time comes.

Do you make a distinction between a fan that doesn't believe LSU is going to put it together and someone that's pulling against LSU?????

the offense wasn't all that bad

That 2011 team was all about defense and special teams. The offense was adequate but not always so. You must remember this team made only 5 FIRST DOWNS in the championship game, only a couple more in the first contest vs. Bama, and had ZERO first downs in the first half v. Georgia (which the Tigers eventually won 42-10).

Jordan Jefferson kinda held that offense back.

And yet they were still 13th in the nation in scoring at 37.6 points per game. If Ensminger can do that this year, we may go undefeated again.

Eta: Regular season of course

Sell your tickets man. We need true tiger fans in that stadium to cheer on our tigers no matter who the coach is.

There are plenty of tickets available. Knock yourself out.

In the game, x's and o's, offensive play calling, being predictable, Passing game, managing the clock, Miles was as bad as it gets.

It's not a big step to go up from.

You are a sad person. We are going to have the best defense since 2011, and our offense is going to be the good surprise. I I am pumped. Sorry you are a coward and 1/2 arse Tiger fan.

Very well stated! Sums up the entire negative poster community and their desire to be disruptive in one brief statement. Kudos to you sir!

This. I have very low expectations for this season. But I can’t wait for LSU and college football in general to start.

Whatever. All I know for a fact is the man done something right to achieve the record he did as the LSU head coach.

Yet the clown we have now has yet to take that small step.
