To the team that just was doubled up and beaten by Tennessee?
State is 75th in pass D. Paul needs to leave these things to people who watch football.

Upset alert...to the team whose QB just completed 87.5% of his passes and THEN proceeded to tell his team that he basically wasn't satisfied, not wanting to be satisfied with "good" but working even harder to be "great". I'm going with Joe.

He was gonna do it for Bama, but since they are facing such a fierce and bitter rival this week, a loss wouldn’t really be deemed an upset.

Even though he looks like the underside of my nut sack, Finebaum is right. We are better than everyone we play except maybe the Gumps (TBD in Nov.) so any team that gives us a game could upset us if we don't take care of business. That's what made the 2011 team so special, we destroyed lesser opponents. Do I think the Cowbells will beat us? Not a chance in Hell but we need style points and Joey Heisman needs to continue to make Little Nicky have sleepless night. Take care of business.

We didn’t even do anything out of the ordinary this week. No special practices, no special plays or packages. Just business as usual. There’s no let down to be had, cause we were never up higher than we ever are.

Maybe he thinks it’s Auburn week?

That stupid choad. Joe Burrow isn't going to let that happen.

Like he did for the Utah State game?

Finebaum is on earache alert— for him, that’s a very big deal.

I would agree if not for LSU’s ridiculous offense. LSU scored 42 points in 48 plays and only had four 3rd downs. Even if LSU wasn’t hitting on all cylinders I don’t think Miss St. can hang. I think LSU needs to score a lot of points and get Brennan a lot of snaps.

Uncle Nick keeps poking him with that stick. It's getting old.

Of cores! That is what Finescum does best.

When you look up douche bag, there’s a photo of Finebaum.

It's killing him that LSU is a real threat to his beloved gumps.

Even in the most horrible Curley Dinardo years we always beat Moo State no matter how high they were ranked. Don’t think they will upset anybody except Finebum. Misspellings intentional.

quote:
1980: In what is often named the biggest win in Mississippi State football history,[7][12] the Bulldogs upset the #1 and two-time defending national champion Crimson Tide 6–3 in Jackson, snapping Alabama's 28-game winning streak.[13] The Bulldogs held the prolific Tide wishbone offense to 116 yards on the ground, one third of its season average up to that point.[14] Trailing 6–3 in the final minute, Alabama drove to the MSU 4-yard-line before a big hit from Bulldog linebacker Tyrone Keys jarred the football loose, sealing the upset win for the Bulldogs.[15] After the game, Alabama coach Bear Bryant visited the Mississippi State locker room to congratulate the team for the win.[10] In 2007, College Football News' Pete Futiak named the game the 91st best ending in college football history since 1970.[16]
Do I think it will happen? No. But it's an SEC road game. It can happen.
