It was way fricking worse than that if you watched the game. They were down 3 scores with 7 minutes left or something. It was ugly. And KSU was unranked at the time and really isn't that good. They got throttled by Okie State and Baylor. They barely beat a bad Miss State team. That is an ugly, ugly loss.

With a gimpy Tua for this game there is no way they miss the play off.
What a perfect excuse for losing to LSU.

I can hear it now.
Bama always passes the eye test.
Just imagine what they woulda done to LSU with a healthy Tua.
Bama ain’t missing no playoffs.

While that may be true, if we lose then we no longer control our own destiny. Someone said there is a possible scenario where we could end up 11-1 and in the shitty Citrus Bowl. Talk about a crappy way to end such a promising season.

He's right. Bama pads their schedule with weak arse teams so they put up big number and look better than they really are.

There are plenty of accurate things to say to hate on Alabama but don't just make stuff up.

2019: Duke (the only one worth complaining about, their QB left early so he wasn't there)
2018: Louisville (Lamar Jackson left, no way to know 10 years in advance they'd be terrible)
2017: FSU (Francois got hurt for the year in this game and FSU never recovered)
2016: USC
2015: Wisconsin
2014: West Virginia
2013: Virginia Tech
2012: Michigan
2011: Penn State

I mean what do you want? Should they replace the Western Carolinas with some other slightly better team that they'd destroy anyway?

He’ll walk that statement back minutes after they lose, if they lose.

Lol y’all fall for Finebaum’s shite every year. If we lose, we’re out. If they lose, they can sneak back in.

I believe if Bama loses then they’re out. But we have to win our games regardless. The committee and college football is tired of gumps and I can’t brlieve them getting a break.

There is only one way I would EVER hope for an LSU loss:

LSU beats Bama this weekend

At the SECCG, things have worked out such that Bama goes to playoff if LSU wins SECCG by handing UGA a 2nd loss

If LSU loses to UGA, both UGA and LSU go the playoff.

I'd like LSU to be up by 5 with seconds left and UGA with ball on the UGA 10 yd line...LSU just moves out the way and lets UGA run for a 90 yd TD

other than ruining a possible undefeated national championship season, yeah i could get on board with that... i see yah working..

Wrong.

I hope LSU wins because I'm an LSU fan, but a secondary benefit is to see all of these "Alabama is getting in regardless" people eat crow.

I think this is kinda true. You hear people on TV saying that Bama will be in because they are bama. The committee will not like that.

The only way I see us making the playoff with a loss to Alabama is if Auburn beats Georgia and Georgia beats Alabama.

They ran out of mulligans after 44-16.

I’ve been saying this.

The decline continues.

need to beat them by 10 points or more to take the committee out of the equation of trying to find a justified reason to put them in once again without winning the division/conference...

Not really. Oregon or Utah at 12-1 as a conference champ could slip in. PSU winning the Big10 with OSU at 11-1 would make it interesting. An LSU loss in the SEC championship game would eliminate Bama.

See the scenarios I laid out. There are plenty of scenarios that cause Bama to get left out. I don't believe many are likely.

It is possible that we could end up 11-1 and not in playoff, but we would be headed to a New Year's Six bowl, not Orlando.

Their schedule is so weak, they need to blow us out to make a statement.

Not gonna happen
