Wade won nothing and got fired for cheating. It’s is what it is. But people liked him and apparently most of you think he has some loyalty to LSU to want to come back. We aren’t a basketball school. He’s done. Move on.

No big deal at all. This guy did it in his 1st year

McMahon being terrible has nothing to do with Will Wade being overrated. More than one thing can be true.

The sycophants on here act like Wade was Billy Donovan.

Why would Wade not be the guy? Is it because he got fire for doing something that’s not even “illegal” anymore?

Yes. Hes shown he has no regard for authority and will break whatever rule still exists.

Will Wade reminds me of Cecil Collins.

Pretty close to Donovan record wise through 5 seasons.

Winning %
Donovan 64.5%
Wade 65%

I'd love for Wade to come back but I don't think it's likely. He's at a better basketball school now. But there is zero doubt that McMahon needs to go.

This is true. The uninformed masses think otherwise. Stars are aligning.

Did everyone forget Wade literally won the SEC? Something that has happened 11 times ever in LSU basketball history?

The mcmen have flooded the board tearing down previous successes at LSU in some twisted attempt to elevate McMahon. A few weeks ago one of em was arguing that Shaq really sucked at LSU and was basically overhyped.

He won the conference. I was there. And the entire crowd ran Alleva out of the building.

The love and loyalty for a decent but not great pear-shaped coach who never won anything is almost as confusing than the hatred for a coach who won a football natty and played for another.

Will Wade is the most overrated coach in LSU history

He quite literally has the highest winning percentage in the history of our program.

Unless you factor in teams in the early 1920's that played 15 games a year

This is false

We are not a basketball school because we choose to be content with mediocrity.

Outside of Kentucky, Arkansas, and Florida, LSU has as much history and tradition in basketball as anyone in the SEC.

3 final 4's, Shaq, Chris Jackson, Pete Maravich.

They’re not basketball fans which is why it’s so easy for them to shite on the successes LSU has had in the sport.

During the Brown era, 25 years, LSU was the second best SEC program next to Kentucky.

The SEC Championship, he won more games in 2 year than McCantWin has won in 4
WW was 16-2 in year two in the SEC
MM is 14-43 in year 4
This discussion about who was the better Coach & recruiter has to be the most illogical argument of the McMen I’ve ever heard.
Any dumass with half a brain outside of these people would know the answer.
