Vs the Sooners In 2004 in the dome. Look to be considered “THE GREATEST” you have to win the last game meaning your the champs. After seeing multiple baseball championships I was starting to worry if I would ever see a football or basketball one in my lifetime. Well now we’re up to 3 in football (should be 4) and it just feels like we could have really had 5 by now and that it’s a legitimate goal every year and not so unreachable. Now I need Wade to bring one home and then I can die a happy man.

1. Our destruction of Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl
2. When Chad Jones destroyed Arky's WR in the end zone

1997 LSU vs Florida. Goal post was being carried on the field and it almost took me out.

2007 Vtech at LSU was a bloodbath but I enjoyed every minute in the stands!

2010 LSU at Alabama for obvious reasons

LSU v. Florida 1997. Watched the whole game playout from field level as a trainer. Still get goose bumps from when pregame was played at the start of the 4Q...could't hear the person next to you even though we were yelling at one another.

Man, I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about it.

I’m curious whether anyone that saw both ‘97 and ‘07 Florida in person would rank the ‘07 game higher. Having been there for ‘97, I feel like it is the only answer for anyone who was there. But I wasn’t there for ‘07 so not sure how it compares.

Don’t go offer but Florida last year was amazing.

Top ten matchup, gameday, cool weather, and LSU played great. Crowd was off the charts.

The one we're we lost to Colorado State. There was some epic meltdowns in the stands that day.

How is this an off topic subject on an LSU football site?

Nonetheless, UGA vs LSU circa 2008 in Baton Rouge. We were getting harassed all day on campus and people talking so much thrash and literally getting physical to the point we left the tailgate area to do in the stadium super early just to be left alone.

We opened the game with a pick 6 and never looked back. Leaving the stadium was so much fun taking shite to many of the people who harassed us.

We smoked a victory blunt on the way back to NOLA then partied until morning.

Fun times, I miss college.

My vote:
Winner: 2007 LSU v UF. That game was wild
1st r/u: 2008 LSU v Ohio State simply because it was magical to watch them win it as a band member sitting on the field
2nd r/u: 2020 LSU v Clemson because the greatest football team in the history of college football, my beloved LSU Tigers

My final 3 would be these as well and my 4th would be 2007 Auburn. I think my order might be a little different. The 2007 games as a student was an atmosphere that can not be replicated as a non-student but the pure elation to the perfect season, GOAT team and 2020 natty just goes to another level. I also got to be on the field for 2009 Arkansas which was a unique experience to say the least.

I've been to some classic Auburn/LSU games.
'06 7-3 defensive classic
'96 Barn Burning
'04 was a good one too
And Flynn to Byrd (Damn you Les Miles)

My last trip to BR was just awful. It was around 100 deg and Fournette just abused Auburn that day. Maybe my worst fan experience due to the heat and how uncompetitive Auburn was

That might be the second most miserable game I’ve ever sat through in Tiger Stadium.

2004 Alabama was the worst.

Runners-up:

1990 LSU vs #2 Georgetown in Superdome, Ricky Blanton with the game-winner at the buzzer. Chris Jackson’s freshman year. Shoe Town was giving tix for free, attendance was 66k plus.

2003-04 LSU vs Oklahoma national championship

2003 LSU vs UGA

2007 LSU vs Florida

But I think the one where I left a game most pumped was 1995 LSU vs #4 Auburn, Bring Back the Magic game.

The auburn LSU game where Nix rolled out and through a last second interception to Troy Twilley in the end zone

The 1996 LSU vs Florida game where Kevin Faulk ran all over #1 Florida that year.

The mad hatter game where LSU went for it on 4th down and threw a 4th down touchdown to Demetrius Byrd. I was actually sitting in that corner seating for that game. That made it even better
