Take advantage of learning the skills and leadership to be an OC and ultimately a HC from a staff of coaches and analysts ( such as John Robinson) that is committed to giving him a fast tract PHD in coaching. Additionally, he appears to be a high character guy who appreciates what LSU did for him and with him to catapult from a random offensive coach with the Saints to the most celebrated and awarded assistant coach in 2019. I think he stays 1 or 2 more years with us.

Sure, he could get a big payday. But if he fails, he will forever be a one-hit wonder.

That could just as easily happen at LSU
Of course, but LSU wouldn’t kick him to the curb with the quickness like some NFL team would.

To prove that he can be THE OC, and to show that his success wasn’t dependent on having a generational QB.

He’ll leave eventually. But that’s ok, the culture of the program has changed. Previously offensive coaching talent avoided LSU because of the culture here. That’s not the case anymore. Now LSU can gain attention from the best. Will the inevitable replacement be as good as Brady? Who knows.. but one thing is certain, the 3 yards and a cloud of dust identity is gone.

Because if he gets into a situation like the browns, he could be looking for a new job in a year.
bingo
ZERO job security in NFL like he has at LSU
plus we can pay the same amounts

Hard to be impartial but $2m to work at LSU seems like a dream come true
Not sure what his goals are he deserves whatever he wants. Hopefully he achieves his goals. He and Slinger have a statue in my heart for fixing our offense.

after SEC coaches have more time to figure out his scheme.

Because LSU is just a cool place to be. Great coaches, great food, great fans, great players. What's not to love?

He shouldn't if he has a chance to move his career forward which is why I will never get mad at Saban

LSU will pay him handsomely, he basically had the keys to the kingdom, and can pad his stats

Explain to me WHY Joe Brady should STAY at LSU?
If he is able to show an offensive game like we've seen this year again (without Burrow):
1.) He'll be OC making 2.5 within a couple of years.
2.) He will be on the succession plan at LSU with the keys to a monster program all his own at the age of 35-40. He'll probably be given another title and be making over 3M easily while he waits.

You may be right, but that’s about $1 million more than the highest paid OC right now.

Job security is a buzz word without true actual meaning when it comes to coaching contracts.
In the nfl, your salary is guaranteed even thru termination
I don’t think he’d ever get fired from LSU, but if were anything like Matt Canada’s contract, he’d be fully compensated as well thru any termination.

Man, the NFL is pretty fickle, it's what have you done lately type of league. Brady has completely revamped our offense but let's not act as if he's not also benefiting from a wealth of talent being here.
Burrow is cerebral,it's a rare quality. We have 3 stud WR's, a RB that runs hard and has outstanding hands in the passing game, a athletic TE that's a freak, and so on. Nobody in the media was man-crushing all over Saban when he was at Mich. t. looking average. An abundance of talent makes many coaches and coordinators look amazing.
And if we're being honest, it's not like he was responsible for the Saints offensive success. SP is one of the most brilliant offensive minds in the NFL, JB was just an analyst ( 1 of many) on the coaching staff.
The NFL is just a different animal altogether. Not every coach wants that headache. Coordinators get fired quick! Players in the NFL won't be as quick to buy into his schemes. It's not like he's done anything at their level as proof. It he goes to the NFL, he would need to have immediate success. He has no tenured history to garner the benefit of doubt.

Just about all young coaches have that aspiration. It’s not until they get there do they understand if it’s the right fit or not

To eventually replace Steve Ensminger as OC when he retires in about four years and then past that, to ultimately replace Ed O as head coach in seven years when he inevitably retires at 65. Which would mean Brady would become the head coach at one of the most premier college football programs in college football at only 37 years of age.
I mean why would Brady pass up a golden opportunity like that?
