DJ, Bregman, and Nola. All three are active right now and will likely finish their MLB careers as the best Tigers ever in the pros.

LSU MLB players with multiple All-Star games:

Albert Belle - 5
Alvin Dark - 3
DJ LeMahieu - 3
Brian Wilson - 3
Joe Adcock - 2
Bill Lee - 2
Alex Bregman - 2

Barring injury, Bregman is on his way up the list.

DJ is doing Micky Mantle things right now. Bregs is unreal. Nola looks fantastic. Definitely on their way to having HOF careers. Can’t wait to see it play out.

I would put him at the top. I would take him over Belle.

Depends on how you feel about steroids as it pertains to Albert Belle.

There are plenty of reasons to dislike Albert Belle but steroids isn't one of them. He never tested positive and actually called for players on the Mitchell Report to be made public before it was. He was naturally strong.

Let’s see how it plays out with Nola as well. A few more Cy Young awards and he’s arguably the best.

I will take Bregman over Belle because Bregman is an outstanding defensive player as well who can play multiple positions.

If you look at it through the lense of the position that they play(ed), you have to give some consideration to DJ as well. I think he is one of the best 2nd basemen to ever play. But I am also exceedingly biased.

If he stays on this pace he can definitely be it if not already now.
Bregman probably should have never made it to LSU if not for that injury in high school.

Can’t forget about DJ either. He’s won a batting title and has a case for AL MVP this year.
shite. Good point. Aaron Nola’s no slouch either.

uh ... no. Let's not get carried away. Mantle is one of the Top 20 of all time.

DJ is solidly Top 20 ... this year ... of the AL East.

my vote is for Albert Belle until Bregman can eclipse or get very close to these accomplishments:

-Belle became the 4th player in MLB history to have 8 straight seasons of 30 home runs and 100 RBIs, joining Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx and Lou Gehrig (a feat since matched by Albert Pujols, Rafael Palmeiro, Manny Ramirez and Alex Rodriguez).

-In 1995, he became the first player in MLB history to hit 50 home runs and 50 doubles in the same season; the last player before him to reach as many as 40 in both categories had been Willie Stargell in 1973. The achievement was especially impressive because Belle played only 143 games due to a season shortened by the players strike.

-Career highlights and awards
5× All-Star (1993–1997); 5× Silver Slugger Award (1993–1996, 1998); AL home run leader (1995); 3× AL RBI leader (1993, 1995, 1996)

Belle would easily be in the HOF if he hadn't pissed off the media and HOF voters (refusing to give interviews pre and post-game)

Belle is #1.

To be fair, his career is over while Bregman is still early.

Nola should have great career as well. Little disappointing this year though.

A little early in Breg's career to ask this question. Revisit it in 5 to 10 years.

I definitely didn't forget him. He's a great hitter. I just think he's well behind Belle and Bregman for overall production, if we're ranking the greatest former Tigers in MLB.

LeMahieu has 3 gold gloves, a batting title, and has a legit case for AL MVP (frick you Trout).
