Alert Belle is easily the best former Tiger to play in MLB.

Certainly he is making a case for being LSU’s top MLB contribution but Alvin Dark and Albert Belle are near the top.
One other notable name not mentioned much is Joe Bill Adcock. He had a great MLB career and had a stint as an MLB manager as well.

Albert Belle led the majors in RBIs and maybe HRs over a decade...I believe he also consistently batted over .300.

Bregman Stats and WAR
Bregman with 20+ WAR in just 3.5 seasons including an 8 WAR this year (MVP level).

Belle Stats and WAR
Belle had a total of 40.5 WAR over 12 seasons. I wouldn't have guessed Bregs was already half of Belle in WAR.

DJ Stats
DJ has a 23.5 WAR over 7 seasons. Not even close to the level of Bregman, but having a good year this year with the Yanks with a 6 WAR this year alone.

Bregman is at an MVP level and has gotten better every year. I never thought he would be this good in the majors. Definitely giving Mike Trout a run for AL MVP this year.

*WAR is listed in the table of Player Value Batting below the main stats table.
