No, it’s the verbiage from the report.. it literally says “refused” on the signature line.

My comment wasn't meant to be a racial one. Maybe I should've said "had kyren lacy been the biggest baby ever born in Louisiana" rather than using Kim Mulkey as the example. It was a joke. The main point of the comment was that it's strange that LSU hasn't honored him in any way. No moments of silence. No 2 on the field. I haven't even heard it mentioned by an espn broadcast crew. Just really weird that both LSU and ESPN have completely ignored it

I don’t think he even wrote it. He was bringing it inside for his wife to write it. He said “me and my wife are going to look over it”. Well what’s to look over on a blank witness statement? And the handwriting doesn’t look like it would be his. I think he was generally distrustful of the legal system and I can’t say I blame him.
I think it’s important to note LSP wasn’t specifically trying to pin this on Lacy at this point. They didn’t even know he was the driver yet, just as the green charger. All they had to go on at this point was existing witness statements and that the green charger had left the scene. They didn’t know Lacy had no idea he was even being mentioned as part of this.
I think that’s unfortunate too because if Lacy had stopped at least he could have told his side of it then and there. May have made some difference. This case should have been all about the lady in the car.

. now that starts to look like straight up misconduct by LSP. It makes you wonder if Funyun lady is connected somehow, because it sure as shite seems like they are trying to protect her.
Is her information out there anywhere to see if there are any connections to LEO?

Yes.
Bryahna Emani Gray is Funyun Lady. This was posted on Thread and maybe Facebook. Google her. This is on public records (accident report).
Body cam trooper is Tyler Werner (his name and badge # can be seen on the REFUSED document).

There wasn't a reason for Lacy to stop because he didn't have ESP to think he would be involved/charged in an accident that happened in front of him.

We know that now. They didn’t know that. My point is it’s unfortunate he wasn’t able to defend himself in this right away. I’m not saying he should have stopped.

I never thought he was guilty of anything.
I still want to know why LSP.didn't locate and question his passenger.

seems like both lacy and the funyons lady are to blame. had it gone to trial, he might have gotten a lower charge and minor punishment, which is what he deserves.
tragedy all round for sure, but not clear he is totally innocent. don't pass when you shouldn't, you might cause and old fella to slow down and a funyuns muncher following way too close to swerve.

It is not weird. They were told not to touch it. Are you that naive?! lol

Yeah, you shouldn’t do that.
Nothing you wrote has anything to do with anything I have written about this young man. All I did was respond to an a-hole, quite like you, with extremely limited reading comprehension, who chose to insult me for making supportive comments. But don’t let that stop you from being an insufferable builder of Strawmen.
Also “ shameful”. Dear God , lady - shameful is you grandstanding like a puffed up little holier than thou Puritan fart.

Idk .. maybe Lacy was targeted and maybe he wasn’t. I would think that by the time the trooper was trying to get this systems at the witnesses home that Lacy had been already identified? It can’t be that hard to find the driver if that color charger.
Either way, that trooper messed up and literally put words into mouth of the witness. Or rather tried to.

Multiple things can be right.

IMO LSP has been a mess since Col Mike Edmondson was superintendent. He got there because he babysat Little Bobby Jindal. Should have never been appointed.

I mean the trooper literally has the most important witness in the accident on body cam saying that the charger was coming at him "head on" at the end of the video. Not sure what the lawyer was thinking posting that.

JFC, to talk so confidently and be so wrong is crazy.

Because the witness also said in that video that he didn’t slam on his breaks, wasn’t going fast at all, and that the lady behind him caused the crash.
I mean, what more do y’all need? The vehicle data supported everything that witness said. He was traveling 28mph. She was going 49mph right up until the impact.
