I would say Orr offense has only looked good against in one game.

Mediocre in 5 others.

There are not number problems that can be created with 3-4 rushers getting to the QB

You keep just saying things that don’t reflect what was happening.

shite we had 6 in to block their four for most of the 4th. That leaves them 7 on our four.

More excuses.

LSU is on its second OC in a season and a half because O fricked up his first try. Now, we have people wanting to use his frick up as an excuse for poor offensive productio

You need to separate your coach O problems with what are real life football problems. You are very out of touch

“Excuses” lol yea ok guy

eh, This isn't Miles 2.0. Let's go ahead and dispell that.

Playcalling isn't that bad.
Execution is bad, and inconsistent.
Adjustments are horrid (and the further along in the season it will get worse).

In the "What's your biggest worry about Ensminger" thread before the season mine was that he would not be able to resist the urge to retreat into "tried and true" offenses when the pressure increases and that when it comes time to adjust, he would retreat into those plays that worked before instead of attacking the defense and their adjustments.

I do believe that's what we are seeing.

But it's too late. The best thing we can do now is to do exactly what you have done: create pressure on Orgeron with extreme calls (such as calls to fire him) and hope that his own desperation overrides the "buddy syndrome", which Miles couldn't, and he forces him to change.

Note we have seen evidence of that intermittently through the year. It's just not enough.

Those same experts say Aranda is one of the best DC's in the country. That doesn't stop you from calling him overrated, does it?

i don't think i have ever said he is overrated. He is being overpaid for the defense we have seen this year. Look at how bad UF's offense is before our game and you tell me he did a good job

Did you really just type this out without realizing it's direct contradiction?

20 points. The defense gave up 20 points.

I don't really care how you spin that, it's not "bad".

Seasons not over baw. Kind of early to call for Esminger's head don't you think? LSU has proven they can defeat top ten teams. They did it twice. Granted they're pretty banged up on the O/L and maybe their D/L is spotty in places. But a cornered, wounded, and angry tiger is dangerous.

We'll see.

I am not an O loyalist. I have criticized him.

Defense was supposed to be our strength. I said prior to the Florida game I thought they were under performing. How can anyone defend our defensive play against Florida? To ignore it makes it obvious you know nothing about the game. Florida is terrible offensively. We couldn't pressure the QB and gave up 215 yds rushing. And to top it off they couldn't stop Florida when it counted.

As for the offense please show me one time I have said they looked great?

Actually, I initially felt he called a bad game but after watching the game I recorded and could play the plays back, he didn't do bad. There were some personnel decisions/lack of certain route combos and there were plays I didn't agree with but overall it wasn't terible.

Examples 1) wr's missed multiple blocks that would have sprung another wr or rb for good yardage, instead, bad block, no gain and people think it's a bad playcall.
Example 2) run toss play, have the numbers outside to gain good yardage and guard let's guy get penetration to his outside shoulder and blows the play up.
Example 3) Florida had stack blitz wide of tackle and either tackle or guard(depending on how they were blocking the play) totally blows assignment and burrow is sacked and fumbles on Florida 28.
There are others also, but I will also say I did think some of the runs at the end of game were questionable, especially when they had just attacked them running on the interior of the d-line with great success on previous drive and score. There is plenty of blame to go around for this loss, it isn't just on ensminger. Aranda's playcalling and the defensive play was very shitty at times. Couldn't defend the option and had bad calls/misaligments to the formations of the offense.

If Ed is still head coach with 5 losses this season, then it will set LSU back several more years for recruiting and financially.
