Our offense has been pressing for a few games. And we didn’t execute very well last week. Nichols almost pulled off the upset. I don’t know how long we go before we pull out of it, but I know we will pull out of it.

This. He’ll we had the same type of weekend against Omaha. Or at least 11-12 innings worth. Didn’t take us very long at all to pull out of that slump.

28-2 on the Saturday game that was the SEC Game of the Week of CST. Came back to win the Sunday game, 6-4, I believe. Of course, beat BAMA that year in the national title game.

You would be correct!

Good teams don't get swept in a situation like that. We know exactly what this team is now and that early season ranking looks silly now.

So several national champions of years past are bad teams. This board will give you all the laughter you can imagine lol.

The over reaction to one weekend of baseball this place has never ceases to amaze me every year.

Sat and Sun, we were just the complete opposite of clutch. 1 base hit could have won either of those games

Forget a base hit. Sunday a pop out extends the game with a tag and another pop up tag wins the game. Hilarious that we just needed fly ball outs when had 38 of them across three games

In 1990 LSU swept UGA and UGA went on to win their only NC.

You sit on a throne of lies. Skip never lost a game, much less three in a single weekend. Great coaches NEVER lose. Great teams NEVER lose.

I remember it like it was yesterday....Skip 10 run ruled every game in his tenure!

In '97 LSU traveled to Alabama for the last series of the regular season The Tigers needed only one win to win the regular season SEC title outright. Alabama took the first two, including the 2-28 game, and LSU did indeed win on Sunday, 6-4, to take the championship

But then, in the double elimination SEC Tournament, LSU took the first game from Alabama in the quarter-finals, 12-7, but then fell to Alabama in the final, 2-12, with the Tide winning the SEC Tournament.

That set up Alabama (#1 seed) and LSU (#2 seed) on opposite sides of the double elimination bracket in Omaha, to meet in the single game finals with LSU winning 13-6 to take the national championship.

So in 1997 Alabama and LSU played 6 games, each team going 3-3 against the other - 3 games being for championships - with the Tigers taking the SEC and national championships, while Alabama took the SEC tournament championship.

You know to make a better thread and not be a ranter there is a site called lsusports.net, it has schedules from every year and it has results in those you could look it up.

Then you could start a thread about how it has or hasn’t happened instead of looking like a bitch

22 Ole Miss got swept by Tennessee, Bama and lost 2/3 in the final SEC series to A&M then went on to win the whole thing.

Doesn’t matter as long as you don’t make getting swept or losing series a habit. Stay alive and get hot late.

I'm doing the rest of the tRant a favor. I've learned bro that if I post like a ranter bro it will attract other rantards bro who will spend their time bro posting in my ranter thread bro instead of defiling someone else's thread.

But now that your whizzing-n-whining has been countered by my whizzing-n-whining can we be friends?

I recall UF got swept by AU in '17 and winning at all. It's not unprecedented.

Idk, we lost to Bama 28-5 or something like that in 97 though

I remember listening to that game on the radio when I was riding with my dad. I was sure they were misspoken when they said the score. Nope, they were right.

I would figure there are more that have been swept than have not.

Either way doesn't matter. Different team, different league. 18-12 and we'll be set up well for the post season

We currently have the 3rd best odds to win it all behind Tennessee and Arkansas. Flush the Auburn series… tons of season left, should be fun.

Yes. We got swept by Florida in 96. Seems like Kentucky swept us another year.
