Maybe we were duped and Americans replaced smoking with food (obesity) which ended up having a negative effect overall.
Just maybe smoking isn’t quite as the bad boogeyman as it was portrayed by American Karens.

How much chemicals are added to European cigarettes?
In the US, all kinds of chemicals are used to make cigarettes fire safe and heck even at a time asbestos was used as cigarette filters.

They also don’t eat the garbage that now serves as most Americans’ diets. All you have to do is go to the beach in the US and you can figure out a few of the reasons.

Are we comparing Americans with European ancestry to Eurpoeans? What would happen then?
Posted on 10/16/26 at 1:15 pm to weagle1999
Maybe European cigarettes don’t have anything added to them.

Besides smoking Europeans eat better, work less, less stress, and exercise much more.

A lot of the guys in the Prem smoke. and i mean chain smoke. Riberi was wildly known for that in his prime.

“How much chemicals are added to European cigarettes”
I think that might be a big part of it.American cigarettes have all kinds of chemicals added.I read they add ammonia as a flavor enhancer no telling what that turns into when burned..Plus fire retardants as you mentioned.

It's the body movement. Consistent and throughout the day.
I'm in a social media walking group (just posting casual pictures of scenery on walks and etc).
Almost all of them are English or French and are walking over 10-20K steps a day.
